The amounts for which the players were retained have not been disclosed. The cut from the cap is just that, and has no bearing on the actual amount the players were paid. No. He can negotiate contract value with the franchisee. 500k is only his base price and that was deducted from CSK's bidding cap of $ 9mil. Albie has serious talent and performed well for CSK in all three editions. Granted he is not in form now, but knowing his serious hitting power, 500K is a great price for him.
