You make them out to be some kind of speed demons - Akhar/Lee 2.0 they are definitely not. The day that bowling attack appears on the team sheet..that match should get shifted to comedy central.

I dont think this attack would do anything worse than Nehras, Ishants, and Praveen's on Indian pitches

Tyagi, Necham are fast by our own pathetic standard. But at the international level there are 2 dozen bowlers in Australia alone can comfortably beat these guys in a speed race. Our strength is swing. Let us focus on that.

Swing can only get us Prabhakars and vinay kumars, nehras. We definately need PACE.

Well that actually reflects the support we have for PACE. Unless they are tried out they'll not improve. Malinga , Steyn, Lee even akhtar all were wayward to start with, its not saying i'm comparing this attack to Malinga',s steyns, morkels etc. but we definately need to give them a run a decent run to improve the control with pace. Then we can judge whether a bowler is capable of international standard or not.

Let us focus on that.[/quote'] not many if u count only Lee, Johnson, and Tait....and swing will not win us matches...India need pacers who at least can consistently bowl 135 or more and can make the ball talk...we even don't have those...We cannot be a dominant force for long without good fast bowlers...like we could have won the SA test series but couldn't do it when it mattered most
