I have heard Rahul Shukla is also touted to be quick.

In an article I posted here Jharkhand player Rajiv Kumar talked about Varun Aaron hitting incredible speeds at such a young age and after seeing his bowling in VH trophy...I must say he was incredibly quick for a 21 year old and not so big guy who is still a kid..getting that amount of carry and zip on a slow Indian pitch was certainly incredible that I have not seen from any Indian pacer in India..Wicket keeper was standing about 20-25 yards away from the stumps....

Lets see if he can come upto India team..we need to play fast bowlers not trundlers. a fast bowler should be between 138 K to 150 K most of the time (except for slow balls) bowlers who bowl an accasional 140K ball like Munaf should not be considered pace bowlers

Mumbai coach Pravin Amre was called to share his side of the story on his team’s below-par performance in the Ranji Trophy as well as the Vijay Hazare Trophy this season. If Rajasthan stunned the 39-time champions in the Ranji Trophy, lowly Jharkhand knocked out Wasim Jaffer & Co in the domestic one-day tournament. Meanwhile, the CIC did not come to any conclusion over the matter and is planning to take a decision before the beginning of the next season. The committee also gave some guidelines to the manager and selectors. “We discussed various policy issues but didn’t take any decision. Mr Gavaskar also attended the meeting and everything went on smoothly,†said MCA joint-secretary Hemant Waingankar. It may be recalled that former India skipper and MCA vice-president Dilip Vengsarkar had, around three months ago, summoned Jaffer to hear his side of the story. -------------------------------------- Mumbai had a terrible domestic season year and they need to introspect. I think they are going through the same problem team India is going , ie, like of wicket taket taking bowling both in longer and shorter formats. Apart from that, whenever conditions helped the bowler, the batsmen turned out to be FTBs, sometimes quite complacent lots as well.
rkt.india Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 @chandan ya agree with you..Strong batting teams like mumbai and tamilnadu lacks good fast bowling unit....They need to do some talent search on their own level to find some pacers...And also dp away with politics at junior level
