Hell Raiser Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/9396390.stm India seems to be so desperate to win WC that they are putting the quality of cricket in line in mega event. Preparing turning wickets is better than preparing rockets for the visiting teams.

Hindustani Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Durka Durka .... *facepalm* the WC hasn't even started yet and these losers aka aftertards, jehadis and firangis are already complaining.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/9396390.stm India seems to be so desperate to win WC that they are putting the quality of cricket in line in mega event. Pakistan seems to be so desperate to win the WC that they are putting the integrity of the game in line by cheating, fixing matches, spot fixing, taking drugs, ball tampering etc etc etc.
cowboysfan Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 " I would be pleased if the wicket turns slightly less in future matches." that ladies and gentleman is our dear captain, the chatur of chaturs.I bet he wants a nice flat wicket so that we can score 300 and still lose easily.sometimes dhoni scares me with his ridiulous and counterintuitive comments,he must know that spinners are our strength.
Aniruddha Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 If I have it my way I would make all the pitches favoring spin. I hope it turns square right from ball one and let saffers, aussies, kiwis, english b*tch, moan and whine about the "unhelpful", "non-sporting" and "minefield" pitches. We don't get any favors when we travel to SA, Aus, Eng or NZ so why should we care about the whiners? As long as the surface and conditions for both the teams, that should be good enough. I wish we play saffers or aussies on a turning track with India opening with spin and blowing away the opponent and then Smith/Ponting moaning & b*tching about the pitch after being thrashed :) ++
Dinx - the Jinx Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Ponting said: "It was hard to bat on right through the day. It spun a lot." why dint he mention, it bounced a lot as well and our (aussie) bowlers used the bounce to restrict india to a very modest total (considering indian batsmen score 300+ consistently)

He has made a career for him playing on Flat Track wickets. The dumbness he shows in his comments is actually because of his own pathetic batting form in the recent years. He wishes a flat wicket where his FTBs can ensure a win, everytime..

Watson87 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 It was good to see Punter back in form. Hope he plays well in the rest of the WC. The better team won, whining from Smith and co was unnecessary, that too during World Cup matches.
Roshanrocks Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Brush up on your history, son. you are mentioned in which chapter? :nervous:

Chandan Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/sport/iccs-geniuses-find-cure-for-insomnia/story-e6frg7rx-1226005371742 Australians are loser That article is from Sunday Times and as far as I know, that paper from England. So you can say that the English or the poms are the losers!
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Does the home team have the option of making a pitch of their choice? Or is it ICC controlled being an ICC tournament?
