nsaviguru Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It's fine you guys' date=' underestimate the might of Pakistan :cantstop:[/quote'] Shick you are here too, good to see you mate, if Pakistan can find a keeper then 50% of their problem would be rectified.
vvvslaxman Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 On evidence best batsman with decent technique in the Pakistan's side is Umar Gul. That is not saying much. To be honest i am impressed with Gul's technique.

To be honest i am impressed with Gul's technique. Gul can actually be a decent all-rounder. His batting has improved by folds. On the topic, I hope we win against Zimb and don't mind losing badly against Australia. Winning against Zimb will set us through and then losing badly against Aussies will bring the beastly beast out of us in the next 3 epic matches! :two_thumbs_up:

Even though they got bowled out, Zimbabwe really did put up a fight against SL in the beginning of their innings. If Brendan Taylor sticks around till the end, then they have the potential to cause an upset. In my view, Ireland and Zimbabwe are the 2 minnows that deserve a Test spot in the future.. they can cause many upsets if the opposing team takes them too lightly.
RedFlow Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 ^There is a HUGE caveat attached to this. If they bat first. If they are chasing 220 aganst Zimbabwe' date=' it is 50-50 game, that is how bad they are at chasing.[/quote'] Look at your chases, your 7 no. batsman comes to rescue to chase 180 and 200 against minnows and finishing in 46th over after lot of tok tok. South Africa scored 350 against NED. And don't tell me they(India) were trying to get good NRR and pitch is not good. Even then there is no way 7 no. batsman of best batting lineup is coming to chase 180. If I am not wrong it was home ground of Sehwag and Gambhir. They know better than anyone else. Blaming pitch at home ground against minnows who never played cricket in those grounds is just pathetic.
Aniruddha Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 another Taylor will end this call for Pakistan against zim

gaurav92 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 One more blessing in disguise against zimbabwe and pakistan will be out of the World cup. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Never mind.Pakistan will beat Australia:dance:

zen Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 For, Pak vs Zim, the odds are 80:20 in favor of Pakistan .... But if the scores are around 250 (Zim puts it up or chases), it could be even-stevens

Ind team has to play according to some preconceived notions of those using Lahori Logic :P

Yup.. we didn't have the luxury of facing Pakistan bowling but a 100 times better bowling attack than that.

And if Chigamura or for that matter any Zimbabwean gets stuck onto this crappy attack, :woot: Then it will be the end of the road for pakis in this WC :joyman:
meloveindia Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Taylor innings was once in a bluemoon gifted innings, its unlikely to be repeated pakistan has a very strong attack and can truly go up winning the cup if toss favors them
