Hell Raiser Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Ya Sachin never intimidated Shoaib. Sachin just thrashed Shoaib.
vvvslaxman Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 But Sehwag did.. admit it like a man.. Sohaib :cantstop:
Cricket Tragic Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 The funny thing is that Akhtar bowled a grand total of 4 balls or something at Lara in international cricket. In tests, he never bowled at Lara. In ODIs, he bowled 2 balls and then Lara got hit on the head in the CT which forced him to retire hurt. I don't think that Lara ever actually scored a run off Akhtar's bowling.
Dhruv200 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I tell u what Pakis live in delusions they try to make up stuff like how our batsmen are scared of their bowlers how they owned us blah blah blah .Shoaib got battered at that centurion game.
Bumper Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Funny how Khuttar mentions Lara (to whom he bowled a grand total of one delivery - which happened to floor the great) & Gilly, as opposed to his Baap Sehwag, who literally bludgeoned him to submission in all the head--to-head series they were part of. Its prolly fair that Akhtar has not mentioned Veeru's name. Who's like to urinate while giving his last interview prior to retirement ? Imran Khan would have probably kicked him out for good for all his antics.
desi pride 1234 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Wasim akram: shoaib didnt want to bowl sachin and sehwag after sachin scored 19 runs of his first over. he said this on star sports.
singhprakash72 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Madan Lal (India's fastest off spinner) also claimed that Viv Richards never intimidated him ever !!!
Gotham Cronie Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Knowing the creativity of today's media, I'm sure they initiated the questions about Tendulkar just like they did before the World Cup.
Asim Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 In Test matches its Shoaib Akhter who took Sachin's wicket more number of times than Wasim or Waqar: 3 times In ODI Matches its Shoaib Akhter who took Sachin's wicket more number of times than Wasim or Waqar: 5 times
singhprakash72 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Going back to Madan Lal ...he took Viv Richard's wicket in World cup final and then got him out more than any Indian bowler at that era. But does that tell you Madan Lal ever dominated Viv Richard...I am not sure what to make of Shoaib's statement ..he should not be scared of Ross taylor also but he got thrashed like crazy and he could also have got him out for Zero. So for a Bowler to feel intimidated is rare..but yes batsman can definitely feel intimidated by fast bowler. Again in case of bowler ...all he needs is one ball to get the batsman out he even though he was stuck for a six previous ball.
Baad Indian Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 In Test matches its Shoaib Akhter who took Sachin's wicket more number of times than Wasim or Waqar: 3 times In ODI Matches its Shoaib Akhter who took Sachin's wicket more number of times than Wasim or Waqar: 5 times Heath Streak from Zimbabwe took Sachin's wicket 7 times and Azhar Mahmood took it 6 times, if any bowler keeps on bowling at the batsmen again and again they are likely to pick there wickets.
Computer Angel Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I tell u what Pakis live in delusions they try to make up stuff like how our batsmen are scared of their bowlers how they owned us blah blah blah .Shoaib got battered at that centurion game. lol how u ppl fail to remember that sachin was dropped on 8 by razzaq.. so it really was a blessing from razzaq otherwise without a lucky break he's as good as wc 2003 final in the most of important matches.. :haha:
MUMBAISKIPPER Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Kya dialogue bola hai!....Shoaib ACTOR back in action
satyam1729 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 lol how u ppl fail to remember that sachin was dropped on 8 by razzaq.. so it really was a blessing from razzaq otherwise without a lucky break he's as good as wc 2003 final in the most of important matches.. :haha: Dude he had scored 18 runs in the Akhtar over itself. So where he was dropped. He is better than Akram who cowardly did not play against India in 1996 WC quarter final. :haha::hysterical:
Lord Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 why only Sachin?nobody intimidated him.they just tonked him out of the park,e.g.Bhajji n recently Taylor
Switchblade Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 It was not 8 Computer Angel when he hit Shoaib for 19 in the 2nd over it was when India were 65-2
Baad Indian Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Well it was Sachin's brilliance in the 2003 world cup which brought a sad end to careers of Pakistani bowling greats such as Wasim , Waqar . However it was Ross Taylor's brilliance in 2011 world cup which brought a sad end to career of Akhtar , thats what Akhtar would be remembered forever , being smacked for 28 runs in his last over at international level :)):))
Computer Angel Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Dude he had scored 18 runs in the Akhtar over itself. So where he was dropped. He is better than Akram who cowardly did not play against India in 1996 WC quarter final. :haha::hysterical: yes my bad he was dropped at 22 or something.. but that really doesnt make much of a match winning difference does it? :P.. and well i cant say anything and neither can u abt akram not playing that particular match thats really absurd to accuse him of fearing the same batting line up which he has toppled so many times before.. but one fact is for sure, when both these gentlemen had their chances akram shone for his team(1992 final) whereas sachin choked(2003 final).. :P
