Little_Master Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I think SS will do better than Munna in the 5-6 overs that he'll get to bowl...he knows how to hold the bat and will not smile when smacked by the pakis. Will be good to see some CONTROLLED agression on the field. Go India Go:yay:
cowboysfan Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 munna was bowling ok until the aussie match, the way the aussies attacked him must be a worry for dhoni.this wicket should be a bit quicker and help him out a bit.
Little_Master Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 munna was bowling ok until the aussie match' date='the way the aussies attacked him must be a worry for dhoni.this wicket should be a bit quicker and help him out a bit.[/quote'] Not knowing how to get some swing is ok...but one should be able to get some movement off the seam...the guy is good with line and length but cannot even get some seam movement. At this level...mere line and length candidate is no good....I really donno whats up with him...all he needs to do is practice and learn how to get some seam movement. If he can get to nip the deliveries in/out he'd can turn into a much better bowler.
Hell Raiser Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I hope he plays. Don't want to see Uncle Munaf and Nehra aunty.
Arminder Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 yaar yeah sreesanth ko nai khilana :banghead: India should goo wid same team B->
Desi Cartman Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 how did they come up with the headlines ? where does it say in the articles that he is "expected" to play ?
Ramzz Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Sreesanth just needs to keep his cool...that is all. I know he is aggressive...but be aggressive with the ball and not with the mouth. He is an attacking bowler who is capable of running through a line up if he just bowls to his strength and does not try to do too many things. He has been lucky for us in India v Pak classes...he should play. Another combo could be to bring in YKP instead of Munni...he will be useful against the spinners.
CG Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Sree is a very very big gamble to take at this stage of the tournament. He has'nt played any match for quite some time' date=' has a tendency to almost always go for lots and lots of runs and thereby undo all the good work done by other bowlers and also has the problem of his temperament - its very easy for opposition batsmen to make him lose the plot because of his temperament..[/quote'] what temperament are you talking about?Munaf and nehra do not know even the meaning of the word. Your posts about sree are getting ridiculous,Munaf and nehra are not even completing their overs also they are going over 7runs per over add fielding woes.
rajmarie Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 If Sree plays...then he needs to control his emotions....no need to over pump himself. But...Sree fielding is no better then Munaf or Nehra.
Misu243 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Sreesanth should definitely play and Munna should sit out. Even Paul Collingwood is a better bowler than Munna. Nehra should retire just like Shaun Tait.
Baad Indian Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I see the majority of the people here think that Sree must play in match against Pakistan but I think its highly impossible given that Dhoni is not very supportive of Sree and would not want to take a chance with him at this stage . I would rather want to see a bowler getting mad after being hit for a boundary than watch a bowler laughing over being hit for boundaries .
WC2011INDIA Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I hope he plays and doesn't lose it completely on the field. Be extremely aggressive and get 3-4 wickets.
Rajma Chawal Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Agree with this. I read on Cricinfo that the pitch will not be offering turn, therefore we need a second seamer who can take wickets. Munna can't take wickets, he can't even stop the flow of runs which is his job.
rkt.india Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Its a gamble worth taking rather having Munna or Nehra
WC2011INDIA Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Its a gamble worth taking rather having Munna or Nehra No other choice man. Both Munna and Nehra are crap bowlers and fielders. Both smile when they give away lots of runs and can't field well. Nehra is better fielder than Munna but that isn't saying much. Sreesanth is also not a good fielder, but hopefully he makes up for that by taking wickets. But then again he isn't guaranteed to play.
ganeshran Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Munaf is crap but he is still better than Nehra. Sreesanth on his day can be very good but also can get belted around the park
WC2011INDIA Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Munaf is crap but he is still better than Nehra. Sreesanth on his day can be very good but also can get belted around the park Bilkul sahi bola tune.
kabira Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Munaf is crap but he is still better than Nehra. Sreesanth on his day can be very good but also can get belted around the park noboday can deny that, thats fact. But its risk worth taking. We have everything to gain from this.
rajmarie Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Munaf is crap but he is still better than Nehra. Sreesanth on his day can be very good but also can get belted around the park That is why India needs to prepare their 6th or 7th bowler to fullfill Sree quota of overs...if he do indeed gets belted.
