Yes it is, but we also have reason to worry. Lanka have the batsmen who can easily chase down that much without breaking a sweat- unlike Pakistan. The burden of stopping them in their tracks will all be on Zak's shoulders. Him, and hopefully the other guys who are willing to attack than contain tomorrow. The containment tactic will just :fail: against SL.

Yup, so in retrospect, 270 odd won't be a power score at all for us. On that pitch, we'd have to look at 300+ if we bat first :nervous:

Batting in the middle overs will be the key, thats when the Lankans apply the spin squeeze before Malinga comes back to get a few frustrated batsmen out. I hope our middle order can rotate the strike well tomorrow.

we need to be wary of Malinga's yrkers I'd say.I've seen batsmen batsmen play him pathetically in this tornament.I mean everybody knows hes gonna bowl 4 yorkers atleast an over,even the commies are announcing it.but they stay in the crease n play with high backlift n get bowled.Styris played him well with low backlift,but I say get down the pitch n make it into a full toss.

their top order has done great and they have mahela to back their top order, if India has to win they need to get rid these four cheaply. Chasing against SL has been tough for India historically in all big matches we have played we have lost chasing, hopefully we will toss and bat first. That 1996 loss hopefully will be avenged tomorrow.
