His statements are quite normal...Pakistanis are feeling guilty as they know their compatriots were the perpetrators of the the Mumbai attacks. Hence the pryckliness in reaction to his statements.... @ Ludhianvi: I can safely say that Gauti's second answer pretty much reflects the general mindset of most Indian people. We all still feel for the victims of 26/11, after all it was the worst terror attack on our soil. The only difference here is that he had the balls to express himself and it's become a huge deal just because he's a famous personality. But even then that comment wasn't communal; it was directed toward a country as a whole, not like cheapskate Afridi who brought religion into the equation. That's the difference between class and crass. :isalute: Gauti. Also gotta love his aggressiveness on the field.

Why is everyone so touchy about offending someone ? He said something which he genuinely felt like. Dedicating a world cup victory to the victims of 26/11 is a great thing. And a victory over Pakistan does give satisfaction to a lot of people because of rivalry and the enmity we shared over the years. We fought wars for god sakes and we lost thousands of people in terror attacks from Pak soil. Isnt this kinda obvious ? I couldnt care less if some jealous and insecure Pakis are offended by this comment for whatever reasons. Let them go to hell.

You don't. The only reason you know anything is because the govt. investigation has allowed you to know the people and parties responsible.
