SL actually have a very impressive record in WC: 96 = Winners 99 = (cant remember) 03 = Semi Final 07 = Final 09 = Final (T20) 11 = Final For me, beating them was the highlight. Than Australia, than Pakistan.

For me beating Aus was good revenge for 2003 but then it wasnt really same becos the Aus team of 2003 was awesome where as now they were just good but not great. On a personal level I loved the way we defeated Pakistan and SL both. It is known fact that most of SL guys support Pakistan in India-Pak match. The best part is our bowling did most of damage and won it defending a score. For the same reason...that many Pakistani were praying for SL win in final it was a pleasure we defeated SL by chasing.Otherwise these Pakistani fans and SL fans would have said...hey you cant chase or you cant defend. Well take that :finger: .

I would have preferred Pak in QF, SA in SF and then Aus in finals. We just play SL too often.
