Pak_Forever Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Read the explanation from hawk-eye not the explanation from 15 year old kids on pukepassion. If you admit sehwag and Dhoni were not out i'll admit Tendulkar was out. What exactly is there to read? Look at these pictures...flaw is so visible to naked eye. Actual impact is on the middle and off, while review shows on exactly middle stump. And when they showed the hawk eye for the middle one (third picture) it is barely missing the stump, so if you go by the actual impact (first pic) then it will definately clip the stump, which means decision to comply with umpire's call which was "out"

If i go by Riaz's hand.. ball would not even pitch in line with the stumps.. What do you say for that.. I flatout reject your theory and call it a load of bull sh**.. Any other evidence? It is nothing but unadulterated whining which would eclipse English whining comfortably.

The truth is hawk eye was never accurate. The truth is time and again HE has defied the response to live action. Btw actual impact is immaterial here if the angle is taking is down. I m not saying the decision is right, but that is what you get. Pakistani fans need to decide where they stand. BCCI opposed UDRS earlier because it wanted things in it favour apparently. Now it does use UDRS and the luck goes in its favour the system is in fault or tampered. BCCI had alreadys made the point that HE is not good enough. Well maybe it takes elimination from SF to recognize this or maybe not

But all countries agreed that it should be implemented despite India's objections and particularly of sachin's himself. So now if Indian player benefits going by the rules which were imposed on that, then why the hell somebody should question that? It is highly against sportsman spirit. I myself say half of the LBW rules are dumb. Many times plumb LBW's are not given because ball had pitched outside the leg stump line. Why don't you complain about that? Because everybody knows those are the rules and we play by the rules. Similarly here we had decided that we'll use hawkeye and so we used hawk eye? Why any sane person should make any hue and cry about that?? Now If you are trying to suggest that hawk eye was tempered for that particular instance, then have guts to come out and tell clearly.

That is what they are suggesting. Hawk eye came up with an explanation only after that. Frankly they didn't have to. It is not necessary.

Yeah absolutely. It wasn't required for hawk eye to come up with any explanation. If Pakistan has problem with hawk Eye then they should simply stop playing cricket unless some of their own software engineers come up with "parinda nazar" software which is accepted by whole world.

In the same match.. they got 2 leg before reviews going in their favor.. infact Viru's wicket was much more crucial. They took it with both hands. They have problem only with the one that was turned down. How convenient. Hawk eye selectively cheated them. These kind of bakwas logic come from one and only brainless padosis.

Prakat Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Wow pakis have cheated us By drawing a straight line it is clear to the naked eye that the ball is going at least half a foot over the shoulder and is clearly a no ball. The free hit will surely have got us 6 more runs. 7 runs need to be added to our total. :riot:

But you can't straighten dog's tail. Ever since they lost.. there is one conspiracy after another.

Ever since they lost.. there is one conspiracy after another. Cut down on your pointless remarks. I never labelled it as outright conspiracy as you are trying really hard to make me look one, not that I give a rat-a*"* about it. All my point was to make you guys realize that actual impact and review impact are at different positions, and that's about it. And its outright obvious from that pictures I posted. If you have guts to argue over it then nevermind I will give up right here. I am not talking about any other decision. Sure UDRS could have few faults but I am in favor of UDRS. It is necessary to stick with this one instead of having a dozen of incompetent so called elite umpires. UDRS might have few flaws but most of the times its legit.

Hell Raiser Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Instead of analyzing the LBW decision with hawk eye and all other stuff, Pak fans would be better if they also start to analyse their brain and think why does that malfunction and starts giving error every time their team loses. It would be a better exercise. Seriously, the game is over, move on, if can't do that than go and cry to ur amma.

Still can't get over WC humilation. :giggle:
akshayxyz Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 This snap looks so dead plumb....but then we dropped 4 of his catches so I don't care about this being a system flawed or "manipulation" Assuming that you have some knowledge of trigonometry. Tenduklar's leg is almost exactly at the midpoint (along the length of pitch) between the stumps and the point where ball pitched. Now consider the horizontal distance - Ball pitched about 1.5-2 stumps outside off. At the point of impact with Sachin's leg - it had already angled enough to be in front of middle stump. With this you can calculate the angle at which it is traveling. With almost same amount of distance to cover, as it did between pitching point and impact on leg - it would further drift about another 1.5 to 2 stumps further towards leg. And that would be enough to miss the leg stump. Let me know which part (estimates or calculation) in above you do not agree with. Now all this is rough estimation and calculation done with naked eyes/brain - and not even using a basic ruler. That is where Hawkeye comes into picture and does accurate calculation - as accurate as is possible. If someone claims that today's technology is not good enough to be capable of doing such calculations - well I can show tonnes of research projects and actual examples - with even more complex object/motion tracking.
