Michael Clarke, the guy is an absolute disgrace of a cricketer. The most despicable of the current lot to don the baggy green Puppy dawg should go home and look after his ex, who it has to be said, is the star of an accidental gonzo style porno :gossip:

What did Michael Clarke do to make you all hate him? o.O Care to post a youtube link or 2 to prove how despicable this bloke actually is?

It's hard for me to hate someone for doing well against India. Usually, the players I hate are for reasons like unsporting behavior, off-field controversies, etc. Right now (this changes with time), from the top of my head - Dilshan ----> for raping an 18 years old in Zim (if this is not true then I can appreaciate him as an useful player) and stuff like suggesting Randhiv to ball a no-ball to Sehwag - Bucknor ----> not a cricketer but everytime I saw him on the field, it made feel that Ind was playing against 12 players - Drug users and match-fixers

Brother in Law of Dawood Ibrahim.. for me is the cricketer I hate most.. and for the impunity with which he lives in Pakistan, makes me want to break all sporting ties with the hypocrite "nation" if you can call that sinkhole that...

Which cricketer, past and present, that you hate the most and why? I have few candidates - Ponting - Arrogant SOB. I don't like any Australian players, but Ponting leads the list. Ravi Shastri - Very frustrating guy to watch. Made India lose many a ODI matches by playing very slow in the 90s. He is actually one Indian player I wanted to get out so that we have a chance of winning the match. I still remember him coming down the pitch to hit spinners only to tuc. Chetan Sharma - Last ball 6 to Miandad in 1986 Sharjah. I know it's one ball, but it still haunts Indian fans. A generation of fans lost confidence in India's ability in the clutch. Miandad - See above. He won lot of clutch matches and had the best innings against India. Also arrogant like Ponting. The winner for me is...Ravi Shastri. He is an all rounder - he irritated me as a batsman, as a bowler and now as a commy. Hope he doesn't become Indian coach.
Hate is too strong a word when it comes to sports. Out of the list above, Ponting - did it for his team and country. If he played for India, he would be revered for his guts and arrogance. Just a matter of perspective I suppose. Shastri - did what the team asked him to do. Took it too far a few times but essentially, he was to play the anchor role while the rest of the team was to build partnerships with him. Also, I remember when they finally asked him to stop playing this role and to start hitting on the SA tour in 93. I believe he had the highest strike rate in the team and got some runs too. I don't hate him. Chetan Sharma - ordinary bowler who filled the gap of a seamer. He just wan't very good but that's no reason to hate him. Miandad - mean spirited and selfish. Prob the one for me.

Chetan sharma.. i won't hate him. That guy was a genuine wicket taker. By hook or crook he would always pick up wickets. He has a 10 wicket haul in Tests. I still remember how he reduced Viv Richards team to 26 for 6 !!!.

It's so easy to through dirt at others when you yourself are drowned in dirt. For most hated players - Ain't got one. Every player brings a difference ingredient in this lovely game.

Tendu was stumped not runout .
he was runout mate... as the ball hit SRT's pad and SRT was on a move to take run when Kalu hit the stumps.

yeah right.whatever !! India were lucky to have someone selfless like Rahul Dravid in their ranks. Guy is a gentleman personified, always played for the team and if it wasn't for him India would have lost lot more ODIs and test matches. He even kept wickets until India managed to find Dhoni.
