The last u 19 team was doing well in australia with mayank scoring 167 in one match. once the team got to perth, the aussies won the remaining matches. possibly mandeep/mayank maybe there for 2015. the fact is it will take sometime to adapt to perth. once they figure out their game with the bounce, they shud do fine.the initial time to adapt will be crucial.

For what I recall, off late Perth is not that bad for batting like it used to be. Also remember Monty picking up a 5-for there Perth should be good for us in a way as it will have something for both the batsmen and the bowlers. And as a team, you shouldn't mind playing on any type of surface. You have to take the challenge What's not fair is broadcaster deciding where Ind should play. The team wouldn't have minded playing a few games at Sydney too 2015 possible line up - Sehwag - Gambhir - Kohli - Pujara - Yuvi - Dhoni - ? (hopefully an all-rounder) - 4 bowlers

Rubbish article IMO Just trying deflect blame from CA and ECB to BCCI for the exclusion of associates If there is a clause which means ESPN demandin 9 games for India in 2015 how come that clause didnt exist during this world cup? why does ICC suddenly agree to a sudden clause with 5 years into the agreement without increase in contract money? The only board that benifit from this clause are CA as most of the profit are shared by host country boards.Where does BCCI and our economic might comes into it? As for playing all our matches in Perth i cant see even Aussie state associations agreeing to it. We are the only team that could sell out the stadium. Why would they agree to miss out on such profits for ESPN ? We will atleast play a match all five major states IMO

Bring it on..I say BRING IT ON!! :hitler:
+1 It'll be beneficial for our bowlers. Not too worried about our batters, I think they'll handle it all right.

More than pace bowlers we should encourage bowlers to become like Zaheer Khan. Wily and reasonable speed to entice opposition batsmen into making mistakes. Like Dhoni said after winning the WC we should have a pool of good bowlers instead of trying to bowl extra fast and getting hit to boundary super fast ( example Akthar vs Ross Taylor). Guy like RP singh , Ishant , Varun, Umesh can develop themselves on lines of Zaheer. Guys like Deepak Chahar , Praveen Kumar, Balaji can bowl very good swing spells. Remmber CB series how Praveen Kumar foxed out the batsmen

I don't think it'll happen like it's mentioned in the article. There will be a lot of indians visiting aus and they will try to spread the games as much as possible for tourism. I don't think Nz will agree to hosting less than 40% of india's matches either. The only possible solution is to have day night matches and that too on weekend only. That'll be 10 am start

Perth will be a flat pata come 2015 WC!
:haha: One team playing most of their games on the same ground is not fair to other teams. Money obsession will ruin this game. It has already booted out deserving teams like Ireland out of the world cup and potentially several more of the future like Afghanistan, Canada, Holland etc.

Pathetic article by a pathetic journalist. Blaming BCCI for CA's fault of excluding associate members kjust shows how jealous the English and Australian media is.
