ganeshran Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I am not sure if the way he played today is his natural game but Cheeka Jr was absolutely pathetic. I dont know he even got the man of the match Shuffles way too much, mistimed many balls and didnt accelerate well towards the end. I hope Srikanth doesn't use his influence to get his son selected
Dhruv200 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 We already had Rohan Gavaskar we dont need another virasat in cricket who dont perform.
anotherhawkeye Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 He did score the highest in a fairly difficult wicket...in T-20. Its premature to judge him from this match alone.

ViruRulez Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 No need to hype him up plz .. there are lot better players waiting in domestics rather than Cheeka Jr.

gult Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Yeah.. he is playing only because of his father.. not even IPL standard
yoda Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 So a thread to request selectors not to select a player who they have ignored in the past? :giggle:
WC2011INDIA Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Yeah.. he is playing only because of his father.. not even IPL standard What exactly is IPL standard? I saw sreekanth jr play today and he wasn't as bad as people are making him out to be. But I have to admit that he is in this team because of his dad.
vvvslaxman Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 If he had been playing for "another country" he would now be hailed as "naturally talented". Anirudda Akmal.
Ram Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 He's a reasonable talent, I've seen a lot worse in my times. Of course, he's nowhere near good enough to warrant a place in the Indian side plus he seems very raw. But today's game would have meant a lot to him. Up until now, he has only played small little cameos for his team, but for him to top score for his team and win the man of the match award- it would have meant a lot to him.
b555 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 that guy cant hit balaji properly internationals bowlers will make mince meat of him but i know , he will come and play for us- - coz its India
Roshanrocks Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 It's CSK vs World n I'm loving it :finger: how come ur siggy doesnt include India becoming World champions. How could you have not wanted that? :hitler:
achilles Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 He can't slog for his life and is the perfect soulmate for Murali Vijay, who too can't slog for his life. I think Cheeka Jr. won the MOM award yesterday for he was the highest scorer and ended up on the winning side. how come ur siggy doesnt include India becoming World champions. How could you have not wanted that? :hitler: Maybe coz CSK > India? :csk: :cheer: How dare you, Roro :hitler:
