The problem with Harsha is, in order to fill up air-time (and commentary is all about you being to actually say something, anything, to clog up air-time), he has worked out his own internal system of trigger points of when he thinks he needs to make a funny comment. So when he sees or hears something that falls in his list of 'i have to say something seemingly funny' list, he will try to sound funny, even if there's absolutely no humor in that situation whatsoever. I dont doubt his intelligence at all - he certainly comes across as a smart man - but his perception of what is funny and what isnt seems completely disconnected from reality. Sadly, we're the unfortunate recipients of his forced humor. But hey, who knows, among a lesser educated audience (if you're suave enough to register in an online message board and post in it, that automatically disqualifies you from that list), maybe he comes across as engaging and hilarious.. He did win cricinfo's poll of the best commentator, did he not?

He is annoying when he attempts to say something funny and the humor falls flat and also sometimes when he tries to talk too fast as though he is doing commentary on radio. :cantstop:
