Rajiv Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 I met her 6 years back in Canada, she left for some assignment and we kept in touch but it was fading, it was like it never happened but there was strong bonding. We kept in touch via email only, I knew she was getting married but she called me and said I would really like you to attend it

Ask her, she would tell. On a lighter note, you wedding invitation would be ideal gift.

And I had so much genuine sympathy for you when I posted my first post on the topic this morning thinking you were wronged. :(( But that doesn't seem to be the case now. So its not like she chose the rich guy over you, is it? Did you even want to get married to her? Actually, I'm not sure why you are even calling her an 'ex' ? In that case, I would also go with the 'gift her a fancy phone' suggestion.
Alchemist Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Mods...Please add a poll : What Gift should Rajiv get for his Ex at her wedding ? 1) His absence 2) Ipad 3) Fancy Phone 4) Weighing Scale 5) Something else

There's more stuff which i dont want to discuss but I feel any girl in her positon would have done the same
Alchemist Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 If Rajiv wants to he'll add it - not sure how emotionally involved he is for us to trivialize the situation. Appriciate that. Rajiv : Nothing personal from my side. If it is really emotional, no need for poll.
Rajiv Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 Ex getting married - someone who is really wealthy. I am invited to the wedding, what is an appropriate gift P.S I have gotten over it + money talks I thought about it' date=' but she kinda expressed that if I don't that means I never got over her. The worst part is that the groom doesn't know who I am[/quote']
