Sachin=GOD Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 No you are wrong' date=' its callled[b'] "Third Front" Mayawati was suppose to be PM if they came into power. we had third front as government, VP Singh, Chandreshekhar, DeveGowda etc, kept rotating as PM. The so called "Third Front" in the 2009 elections was a joke. It was a collection of opportunists having nothing in common except the fact that they were all against both the UPA & NDA. Not even its own leaders believed that they could come even remotely close to forming a Govt on their own. As for Mayawati being PM and all that stuff - that was nothing more than the Indian media going berserk. Currently there is no alternative to the NDA & UPA at the center and there will not be any for the next 15-20 years at least. No regional party (or more specifically regional leader) looks like having the vision to take their party to the next level. Most of them are petty minded and are concentrating on consolidating their regional vote banks or making more and more money or encouraging nepotism.
Homerus_Unus Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 its somewhat like this :( Holy shite! I visited Darjeeling when I was 5 and still remember how beautiful and quaint it was...and that was 1979. Whoop de doo...I am old!! :cantstop:
The Outsider Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Left+ never was and never would be an alternative at the center. The most they were capable of' date= at their best, was to support Congress. So, which one are you talking about - never was or currently?
Texy Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Mamta is a mentally unstable person...she doesn't have the capability of running a state ...but unfortunately there are no alternatives....
saneindian Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Mamta has ruined the Railways completely and now its the turn of WB. Even though she has fielded a number of noted scholars, bureaucrats and academicians in the polls (who are likely to be the ministers in her future govt), I am not sure how much freedom they will have of working on their development agenda.
ganeshran Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Mamata Banarjee is worse for Bengal than even the leftists. As soon as Buddhadeb tried to get some development going for WB, TMC blocked it
fineleg Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Corrupt Jaya vs Corrupt-er Karuna or is it the other way ? Both need to be chucked out
Mariyam Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I never understand Tamil politics, how come there is always turns for Karunanidhi and Jaya. LOL Isnt there third alternative?? Even Congress will be better. Tamil Nadu politics is really simple. Actors become CMs. Fat people become actors. So basically, if you want to make it big in TN politics, be a glutton during your childhood. Text hidden A persons career in TN Born If thin, Study Engg PHD 2nd PHD write 5 books on maths debate on ICF using advanced statistical techniques to who is the better batsman criticize fat Tamilians because you yourself couldn't be one. If fat, bully other kids become an actor ( all TN film stars are fat) Then become a politician and crack a few filmy dialouges rascala mind it style at rallies Become CM Have your daughter involved in a 3g scam and appear all smug about it Laugh at the thin people. :P
yoda Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 ^^^:hysterical: BTW actresses these days aren't fat anymore, and not just because of the Northie imports. Yes there was a fatness fetish once upon a time, altho Jaya herself has ballooned due to thyroid issus I am told, and was plump as opposed to fat during her acting days - this I gather from old movie clips they keep playing on you guessed it - Jaya TV.
fineleg Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 These days heroines cast in Tamil movies are not all fat, and for hero - we have thin dhanush (BTW this dhanush is son in law of Rajinikanth - for real http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhanush ) sY-JSvF4lRg
fineleg Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 ^ BTW - while he dances like an idiot above, he did act well in Aadukalam (a more serious movie compared to the Salman Khan like movie above).
asterix Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Dhanush == Slim Dinesh Karthik.. BTW the stomping on dust, water while dancind is a trademark Southern Cinema dancing technique. I remember Jumping Jack Jeetendra doing the same in many a songs of South production movies..
Mariyam Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 sY-JSvF4lRg This is the most retarded dance. EVER. Was just seeing this without volume. :cantstop: :haha:
Late Cut Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 This is the most retarded dance. EVER. Was just seeing this without volume. :cantstop: :haha: Yo if you're gonna talk trash then you gotta show us how it's done.
kabira Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 LOL this thread from Politics to Tamil Movies. LOL I think Election commission should not allow those in power to have their own channels. They use it for their agendas. Jaya TV, even Karuna has channel, LOL
fineleg Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 LOL this thread from Politics to Tamil Movies. LOL For more than 50, 60 years in TN - Politics and Movies are inseparable. Movie actors become politicians... repeatedly happens, Politicians own Movie productions. It is tied together! (even though many of us dont like it - it works that way in TN for now). And the Vijayakanth now. This Vijaykanth party has the association with Jayalalitha in this election. :banghead: Actors/Actress campaign for politicians, and the latter attend audio rel functions of movies.
fineleg Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Does Naarth India have any movie star as Chief Ministers? Cant recollect. There were politicians like Shatrughan Sinha but CM? anyway movie connection or not, many Netas are PhDs in corruption
