I know the points table. Just being at the top means nothing. They have played one match more than MI and still have the same number of points. Also look at how many matches CSK has lost and how many MI has. MI still continues to be the best team of this season so far.
:hysterical::hysterical: they lost to DC last night, u jinxed em

Chennai is the best 20-20 team, no doubt about it. They have solid Indian Batsmen in Raina, Dhoni, Vijay and Badri who is part of team India, then a hard-hitting all-rounder in Morkel, one of the worlds best batsmen Hussey. Their bowling is also really good with two good fast bolwers in Bolly and Southee, two class spinners in Ashwin and Randiv. Jakati is an intelligent 20-20 bowler who don't give too many runs. This makes scoring off CSK bowlers a difficult task. No other IPL team has such quality in Batting dept, MI comes close but there bowling is comparable with CSK, batting is too dependent on Sachin and Rohit.

Am not sure if you are including national sides..But, Man to man, Mumbai are a better team. With Sachin, Mallinga, Rohit, Symonds, Pollard in their ranks. They are a dream team ( So was Deccan in the inaugural IPL, atleast their batting). But, as a team CSK are far superior and its hard to deny even if you are a CSK hater that they are the most well knit team of all the IPLs. I would personally liken MI to Real Madrid ( Have got all the money and stars in the world) and CSK to Barcelona..Excuse me for bringing in footy lingo

Any intl t20 t20 team is better than the madrasis but then again with dhoni as the captain, you never know csk might win a few even against intl teams.

Nope. CSK can't beat too many teams at intl level. With Murali Vijay at the top, any intl quality bowler would reckon his chances to get an early breakthrough. And Badrinath, Saha, Anirudh Srikanth etc. don't belong at intl level.

So how did we win CLT20 last year? And yes you guessed it right' date=' MOM of finals - M. Vijay. :hahaha:[/quote'] Coz CLT20 does not have intl teams but domestic ones. OP contends that CSK is the best T20 side in the world including intl teams, i.e. Aus, Pak, SL, Eng etc. I don't agree with that statement. However if OP had said CSK was the best domestic T20 team in the world he would have a strong case and I would be inclined to agree with OP.

IPL teams themselves are not domestic. All the top performers in these teams are actually international. That said, this CSK team can probably beat an Indian XI T20, if you take away those playing for CSK. :winky:

Our Indian T20 team despite having potential to crush anyone keeps getting walloped. Jaddu is one of the reason.

Jaddu should be kicked out of the team. Get Valthaty in his place (only for T20) for subcontinent pitches, someone more technically sound for overseas matches

CSK has a good-allrounder ( opening bowler that doubles as a hard hitter in the end overs, the role filled by jaddu or pathan in the indian side), Ashwin is the starting spinner instead of dartbhajan and bollinger is extremely consistent for this format. All advantages over Indian T20 side. The only major advantage Indian T20 side has over CSK is yuvraj but yuvi hasnt performed well for India in T20s in the last year or so. Apart from that, man to man, India's 2nd spinner will be better than Jakati. Saha's position gets a freebie as it will be most likely filled by a bowling all-rounder like jaddu to the fill the void of Albie. So yeah, CSK does look like the better T20 team than India.
