julianlev Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I think the fact that we have whole new teams takes something out of it people had gotten used to supporting certain teams, and then everything changed
jibranpatel15 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 boring coz I wasn't around :beee: Now it would get really interesting :proud: :icflove: :wavey: :hello: where have u been Gaurav ???????? Its been almost 50 days u r missing. thought u hv been kidnapped man
ganeshran Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Too many minnow teams have spoilt the IPL this time around. Its feeling like the World cup league stage
Ramzz Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 The quality of the matches have been less than previous editions. More to do with talent being spread out as 2 more teams joined the competition.
urbestfriend Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 It is by far the worst IPL. When you know the semifinalists two weeks before the last knockout match, it ought to be worst IPL. Too many one sided games, doctored pitches where run making is difficult and big gap between top teams and others have made this most boring of all editions of IPL.
IKnowU Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 We thank the wonderful "ipl auction" for this *****y season.
fineleg Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Does not matter which team wins, but come May 28 - hopefully ICF will stop bickering about these bakwaas franchise teams and celebrate the end of an utter tamasha that harms rather than helps real cricket.
gaurav92 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 :wavey: :hello: where have u been Gaurav ???????? Its been almost 50 days u r missing. thought u hv been kidnapped man   Mere peeth peechey tune 5 billion bana liye . :icflove:

someone Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 We thank the wonderful "ipl auction" for this *****y season. Lol, if anything that made it less worse, had their been no IPL auction, there would be more one sided games and lower quality.
IKnowU Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Lol' date=' if anything that made it less worse, had their been no IPL auction, there would be more one sided games and lower quality.[/quote'] And teams are more balanced now? Deccan, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan are worse off other than Punjab maybe.
someone Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 And teams are more balanced now? Deccan, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan are worse off other than Punjab maybe. Totally disagree. RR, Punjab, Deccan were always the least favorites in IPL-3 and IPL-4 as well. And every team have a more similar squad with each other, which is a good thing in my books. Actually Deccan itself is a quality team on paper, probably the best bowling line up where all 4 of their bowlers are international quality and containing the top 2 spinners after Ashwin in IPL.
Ram Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 The fatigue and boredom factor was inevitable. Indian cricket fans have been exposed to non-stop cricket for nearly two and a half months now. At some point, the enthusiasm was going to wear down.
Prakat Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Can't remember even one close match this season. If there were any they were too few.
ganeshran Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 IPL isnt a one year business anyways.. Even IPL2 was slightly down compared to 1 and 3. Next year will pick up again.
Guest Gunner Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 :finger::finger: Don't believe this homo. He is just trying to win my brownie points. I was in b'lore before you :finger::finger:
bangladeshifan Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Can't remember even one close match this season. If there were any they were too few. 1st match kkr vs. csk
fineleg Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 lulz at the thread .... its like comparing monkey poo with dog poo' date=' cat poo and crow poo :phehehe:[/quote'] Well, it is the IPL (I. Poo League) :haha: I hope it hits the fan and the league crashes.
