Enough of Padosi bashing, main acha padosi banoonga lets create a thread which will be used only for good things related to our neighbors especially Pakistani Cricket. I would request everybody to use this thread only for praising past or present players of our neighboring countries, no insults please. To start with: I have always been a big fan of Wasim Akram, I always wanted in my childhood to be a bowler like him. There was something very good to eyes, whenever I saw the batting of Inzi his laziness I think I always felt he had lots and lots of time to play the ball. I regarded him as one of the most dangerous batsman whenever Indian team was playing against them. Is there any present player whom you people think can be one of the greats.

The Pakistani are playing the victim card and a double game and it worked for years. But not for long..and not anymore. A parallel example is spot fixing action by ICC and OBL operation by US navy seals. PCB shielded and tried to throw dust in eyes of the ICC by those Pakistani version of bans. Asif , Akthar, Afridi broke rules and with impunity because they knew PCB will shield them. Finally ICC did not take PCB into loop and took action in spot fixing case or else Amir ,Asif and Butt would still have been part of cricket team after a series of fake drama. In a similar manner..CIA and US seals trusted Pakistan as an ally in the war on terror .....and eventually realized that no action be gonna take by ISI.... so they kept Pakistan out of loop and got OBL themselves in dark of night from a military officer infested town a few miles away from Pakistani capital. ICC and US Navyseals action is just a starting point in the world realizing the double games played by Panickstan.

Actually, I believe it was decided after the Marlon Samuel's case that all spot-fixing/match fixing cases would go through the ICC and not the home country.

Younis comes across as a hard working and honest chap who tries his best. He also plays the game in the right spirit and is a lot like our senior players like SRT, Dravid, Laxman, Kumble etc. It helps that he has got some stuff and isn't a useless show pony. Afridi on the other hand....:facepalm:

As for Ajmal he hasn't played much and is only famous for being hit around the park by Hussey in T20 semi final :haha:

Ajmal is good and I think, it would be a good contest between Indian batsman and him. But to be frank he is the only bowler currently in the squad who can cause some problems.

Not sure about Ajmal but yeah Gul definitely is a hard-working and down to earth chap. To be in the company of the likes of Akhtar, Asif and company and to come out without any controversy has to be an achievement. Probably one of the better Pak players - both in terms of skill and as a person :two_thumbs_up: In that respect even Misbah comes out to be a decent bloke.

Younis is a really decent bloke who can keep calm on the field even in pressure cooker situations. Have always been a huge fan of Wasim and Waqar. Saqlain for his ODI bowling. Gul for his discipline and hard work. UA has potential but also has the bad habbit of throwing his wicket after 35-40. Not yet arrived at a conclusion regarding him

I think Sangakara and Jayawardne are one of the most classiest batsman of our times. Really good role models for their country Also Tamin and Shakib are the ray of hopes for Bangladesh. Few more cricketers and a positive mindset in BD can make them a good team. All all of the 4 boards I think BCB rivals PCb in terms of management and red tapism, only its doesn't surface

Not only for his great batting' date=' but also for his honesty.[/quote'] Yep was watching this show on TEN CRICKET for got the name of the show where he spoke abt his tough times during childhood and his late father and brother he said that he thinks that they r stil alive and whenever he does well they must be watching him overall it was a good show and i really respect the guy its a shame what happened with him when players underperformed on purpose and the PCB rather than backing Y.K backed the culprits
