I'm less concerned abt random ODIs (Ind-WI odis for ex). Some important ODIs yes. Tests, yeah we need to put up a good fight in all the Tests (or at least in the series if we mess up a Test). The results dont matter so much as whether we had a well fought Test series. The Ind-SA series is an example of a good series. Besides - even if IPL crashes and burns, then there will be breaks between series :) Only that players may actually rest rather than play IPL and skip Intl series.

^ this is not the only series. For ex, MSD skipped SL Tests (Ind in SL) after I.Poo.L And lets not forget Viru's presence in Tests (Eng) is in jeopardy after his later date of surgery. Even if he 'forces' himself to make it, not sure how fully recovered he'll be in Eng. and there were rumors abt SRT carrying injury in this IPL4. Hope that's a rumor. So /facepalm right back at ya'll

That was the only series an Indian test player skipped in probably last 20 years if ever. After that broohahaha no one will ever complain about fatigue. I knew you would whine about Dhoni. :cantstop::cantstop: I was waiting for it to unleash the awesomeness. :phehehe:

In anycase skipping due to IPL is one part of it (though an important one). Thats not the only disadvtg of I.Poo.L Besides - if we want to watch Tamasha, we can always go the theater/rent Dabaangg. Let cricket remain cricket pls.

T20s are here to stay. The sooner some of you purists realize this, the better it is for your own health. :icflove:

Of course, this doesn't change the fact that Akbar was the best archer. it just shows that for a person who has amulets and rings of Gold, diamond, rubies, pearls and lapis lazuli , this silver amulet and this competition doesn't mean much.
For the "common folk" who did win..the gold amulet would meant the world, probably meant didn't die of starvation, or buy farmland, or pay his taxes...not everyone is born with a silver spoon.
After all, test match cricket and Ranji are the only indicators of cricketing talent. IPL Tamasha is for people like
....it's for people who make peanuts dragging themselves around the country in trains staying in filthy motels without ever the slightest hope of wearing the blue jersey or make a decent living season after season, whilst the privileged from the metropolitans continue getting picked by default of their birthplace like your "Badshah". "It is easy when we are in prosperity to give advice to the afflicted" -Aeschylus Not everyone can be a Tendulkar or is born a Rohit Sharma!...only a petty person would begrudge the wealth made by the "common folks".

O bhaisaab, she is just joking, no need to take it so seriously. It is the IPL forum remember. :cantstop::cantstop:

Please read carefully. For all your talk of morality and privileged classes vs the downtrodden, you didn't do your democratic duty by voting in the Poll in the thread. :nono: Where did you get that from?
