The Outsider Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 # 1 - As the Crow Flies by Jeffrey Archer - I've probably read it 5 times. A Matter of Honor is my favorite Archer book - really surprised that no one made a movie on it. The plot and the speed of the book are just perfect for a thriller.

Don't think there would be many here who would read Hindi Novel. But if any one intested, I would suggest Sara Akash by Rajendra Yadav. It's english translation is also available by name of Strangers on the roof, but better to read original one.

I like Sharad Joshi, Bhishma Sahni, Amritlal Nagar, Jaishankar Prasad, Yashpal etc. Many of the prominent Hindi writers are very under rated and people don't read most of their books nowadays.
