Mentally, they’re as fragile as a new born’s tender bones. Lollypop catches dropped, batsmen simply unable to deliver when the going gets tough, Repeated choking at the cusp of victory, Multiple batting collapses, sometimes in both the innings of a test match… All tell-tale signs of players whose neurons are made from Styrofoam and balls from cheap cardboard. Contrast this to the Indian team. Match after match, series after series, season after season, some of the victories they have managed to pull in the last few years would put most professional sporting teams to shame. We had absolutely no business winning so many of the matches that we managed. You don’t have to look farther than the WC for proof of this. That chase against Australia in the quarters, the ruthless strangulation of the Pakistani batsmen in the semis, the almost shockingly easy biggest chase in the history of all WC finals against Lanka… Under those scenarios, other mere mortal would have sh@t bricks and would have sweated bullets. Our guys made it look as though it was a casual stroll to the nearest ice-cream parlor on a pleasant spring afternoon in the Swiss Alps.

Its titled ‘India V Pakistan in World Cups’. Oddly enough, even though it has the EXACT same ending, I never seen to get bored of it. :winky:

Dont get it twisted, Team india is good these days, but we have had bigger games and wins before dude.

I was in India when it happened and the entire country shut down. Last time I saw this was the Mohali match. Anyone who doesn't remember Irfan under pressure or the final over famously bowled by Jogi has a very short memory.

T20s hurt paks...you gotta admit it was embarassing not hitting the stumps in the group and that final shot by Mishbah hurt. World cup groupies??? Like in 2003 when India essentially kicked pakistan out? They couldnt make knock out? How about 1999 when there was a war going on and a SH!T India team still beat one of Pak's best teams of all time? It might not have hurt you but it certainly hurt the morale of the troops fighting.

Do you even follow the game? Country closing down means jack ****. Next you'd be telling us that it is bigger than beating Australia in 2001. It was a Mickey Mouse tournament and it will always be the same.
