He's in fine touch, don't think he would have been averaging in the 60s in the McGrath, Warney era. He is a good batsman but a very very boring one to watch. Don't think England ever had a decent 1st down batsman in odis, all they had was Vaughan and that idiot never scored a ton, so good find.
