His local coach mentioned this in an interview to a news channel live on the night when he took 5-fer in an IPL match against Kochi and I had already mentioned it many a times on ICF that Ishant has changed his action since WCT20 in England when i first saw the changes in his action and also had put videos on a thread.

Ishant was asked to change his action a bit so he can bowl out swingers and develop leg cutters' date= but in that process he could not acclimatise to those changes he did at the time of World T20 in England 2009 when i first saw the changes. Those changes lead to his downfall. He lost his writ and started falling on the leg side. I believe bowlers should not need to tinker with their original actions if they are doing well. After SA tour by consulting his local coach, Ishant went back to his old action and hence got the pace back and bounce he had lost in the last one year.

I definitely remember reading something along these lines.

Ishant,Varun & Umesh are the bowlers in India who can be called "Fast" not Fast-medium.Ishant in this WI series is bowling quite sharp,matching Roach and Edwards in pace on those slow pitches.But we shouldn't get carried away with pace.Ishant is bowling quick & taking wickets.Later is more important & if Aaron & Umesh can also do that then they should be in the team too....specially in England.I'm quite impressed by Sudeep Tyagi too & quite dissapointed that he didn't get a game in this IPL for CSK.This 4 are the quickest in India & certainly better than any Vinay Kumar.I'm not sure abt Mithun though.But we shouldn't Ignore Praveen(75-80Mph) & Munaf(Mid 130s) who are not the quickest we have but certainly effective.

I hope Aaron gets picked. But please for heaven's sake don't pick Ishant for ODIs. He gets hammered around and just loses confidence. He is good for Tests, but not limited overs matches.
