Trichromatic
Bhajji has made it large - it's beneath him to play domestic cricket. Moreover' date=' even ordinary domestic batsmen are pretty good players of spin and in current form, he is going to get hammered in domestic cricket as well. Where will poor Bhajji get the kaanphidenshe bhoost he needs to bowl well?[/quote'] Players go through such phase. All the supporters of Bhajji will say this. But when they go through the such they do try something else. Sachin went to county cricket to get into groove. Same was the case with Zaheer. One can't simply take his place for granted like this and continue playing international games. It's not that I want him to leave the game forever. I want him to return back. But for that he has to take a break now. Well, going back to basics, practicing with the help of former players, he can try. Even if domestic cricketers are good players of spin (though he doesn't turn anymore), he won't feel pressure of the match and can try to do better with little bit of ease. Link to comment

gs
Bhajji -- Swann is bowling on the same damn pitch where you couldn't spin the ball to save your life -- so much for making it large!! Link to comment
Sid
Bhajji is finished ,way Swann is bowling goes to show Harbhajan is no where near him in bowling. Also considering the fact Swann was bowling to better players of spin. Link to comment
Trichromatic
Compare both bowlers. Swann is bowling to Indian team. Bhajji was bowling to middle order of England. They don't play spin very well. Swann restricted runs. Bhajji was leaking runs like ODIs Swann looks like getting wicket, Bhajji is never threatening. I would support Bhajji even if he doesn't get wicket, but at least if he bowls well and supports other bowlers in applying pressure. That might result in wicket for other bowlers. But Bhajji is not going anywhere. What he is doing, that can be done by part-timers also. No need to play a batsman averaging 18 for this kind of stuff. Link to comment
urbestfriend
I can'y believe so many have ganged up against Bhajji when he is going through some tough times...I sincerely pray that Bhajji suddenly rediscovers his form and pwn every one. Link to comment

No one turned against him, people have been saying for the last 20 test matches that he is doing a disservce to the Indian team by being there. Link to comment
asterix
Earlier he used to take Tail end wickets. Now he's stopped taking that too.. We too are praying that he somehow Pwns us, in this important series.. Link to comment

We don't have luxury of carrying a par-timer for years. Our bowling is not like batting. Link to comment

When a specialist, senior bowler is averaging 37 for the past five and a half years, there are far deeper problems than just going through some "tough times". Link to comment

I sincerely hope so. I want bhajji to take a break so that he can come back stronger. If he can pwn me in the 2nd innings itself, I will be a happy camper. Link to comment
Hell Raiser
Swann has looked so threatening and better than Bhajji, its hard to believe that both are bowling on the same pitch. Link to comment

Karan114
Swann is proving a constant challenge even to a well set batsman like Dravid. Link to comment
The Realist
Every spinner looks threatening compared to Dartbhajan - the bar is set that low now. Link to comment
Hell Raiser
An inform Harbhajan is so vital for India because his batting is a big bonus, but right now he is just a passenger in the bowling department. I hope he can turn it around soon as he will surely get more chances because i don't see him getting dropped. Link to comment
