ravsdh Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 'Rohit/Yuvi/Kohli/Raina (they could ALL make the test lineup for ANY other country)' whoever posted this is a moron of the highest degree. even more so for the quote above.

Septimius Severus Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 The greatest jinx thread of all time on ICF?
Cricketics Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 So much stick being given to the op dude. I for one will back him. Check his post and read his line up. Sehwag and Gambhir have't played together yet. OP still hasn't been proven wrong.
Serani Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 So much stick being given to the op dude. I for one will back him. Check his post and read his line up. Sehwag and Gambhir have't played together yet. OP still hasn't been proven wrong. OP is arrogant and has blind faith in India. Serani is a realist and could see what was coming. OP is wrong.

Rahul Dravid Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 So much stick being given to the op dude. I for one will back him. Check his post and read his line up. Sehwag and Gambhir have't played together yet. OP still hasn't been proven wrong. Thank You. we didn't have the full batting lineup that I listed and what India have when full strength, with Veeru and Gambo both fully fit and playing do you guys still think we woulda lose the 2 tests?
Captain of Bhangra Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 OP is arrogant and has blind faith in India. Serani is a realist and could see what was coming. OP is wrong. Referring to yourself in the 3rd person doesn't make you sound arrogant whatsoever... ;-)
Septimius Severus Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I think munna is a much better bowler than girly boy Broad' date=he just cant stay fit for the longer format. LOL!!!
Trichromatic Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 i was just thinking ... i mean how can we lose a Test match with this kind of a batting lineup.. sorry it is the obvious, but has there EVER been a better batting lineup? Sehwag. (Match-Winner) Gambhir. (Top-Class) Dravid. (The Wall) Sachin. (God) Laxman. (Very Very Special) Rohit/Yuvi/Kohli/Raina (they could ALL make the test lineup for ANY other country) Really? Mahi. (cant say he's a great test batsman, but still he is Dhoni) how can a bowling lineup take 20 wickets, when this kind of a batting lineup is out their?.. :hmmm:

ali0786 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Thank You. we didn't have the full batting lineup that I listed and what India have when full strength, with Veeru and Gambo both fully fit and playing do you guys still think we woulda lose the 2 tests? Common man give credit to England. You have players like Sachin, Dravid, and Laxman in the middle order, yet you weren't able to cross 300. Also add Yuvraj and Raina, who apparently would make it to the batting line up of any other country. Even Pakistan won 1 test match in England last year without Yousuf and Younis, and we didn't have luxury of having players like Laxman, Dravid and Sachin, we had Umar Amin and Azhar Ali in the middle order making their debut. England missing their 2 starters in this test in Tremlett and Trott, yet they are in commanding position because of their bench strength. India should have done much better, it seems like the team as a whole gave up because of injuries and the only guy that fought was Dravid.
