Trichromatic Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Pakistan' date=' their people, Pakistani cricket, their cricketers, their board and their fans are part of Giant Circus providing entertainment to ICF crowd (and to the whole world as a matter of fact) :hysterical: [b']are you the incarnated version of pak_4_ever (or something like this, can't remember, too many jokers with pak under their handle name) ? he had promised that "inshallah" mods have to ban him if Pakistan won the semifinal and then he quitely disappeared, probably again came back with a new alias (must be the case with many other "paks") :--D lol, no. I just meant why care whether Pakistan plays in some domestic league of Sri Lanka or not. :winky:
ganeshran Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 ^ I dont think OP is an Indian. IIRC he is from Thailand.

Cricket Tragic Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Looks like we have another member who might have to pass the nationality test like Mishraji.
Sehwag1830 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Sri Lanka Premier League postponed to 2012 The Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) has been postponed to August 2012 after facing a series of problems including the withdrawal of Indian players from the picture. In its place Sri Lanka Cricket, the league's owners, will conduct the regular inter-provincial Twenty20 tournament featuring five domestic sides for this year, without involving foreign players. http://www.espncricinfo.com/srilanka/content/current/story/522286.html
Pagalpanti Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Another country tries to replicate IPL and falls flat on their face. :yay: Don't try to match BCCI - :finger:
Crookbond Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Shows the influence of BCCI in world cricket. Power should be handled with utmost care & responsibility.
Pagalpanti Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Before the BCCI bashing starts (some of it has started it already) Its really pathetic if a local competition of Sri Lanka needs Indian viewership to go ahead. I don't think this is entirely the reason, I bet I wouldn't have even watched it unless I had no other choice to kill time to watch Sir Ravindra Jadeja play. SL went into doing something they can't, they are in huge debts and are trying to re-create IPL and when they realize they can't do it, they give this ridiculous reason.
Alchemist Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 OMG !!!!! The best tournament (according to Padosis) won't happen now !!!! This is a disaster. :hysterical:
Sachinism Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 SLCB were hoping they can ride on Indian sponsors, players and audience.
Yoda-esque Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Too bad..was hoping to see the Nagenhira Naginas against the Wayamba wolves :((
Laaloo Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 SLCB were hoping they can ride on Indian sponsors' date=' players and audience.[/quote'] That's just stupid lol. Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel, Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Manoj Tiwary, Saurabh Tiwary, Umesh Yadav, Vinay Kumar, Manish Pandey and Paul Valthaty, reportedly, are the 12 Indians who had shown interest in playing the SLPL. What are the Pakis going to do now?
Karan114 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Shows the influence of BCCI in world cricket. Power should be handled with utmost care & responsibility. Why on earth were they trying to organize a tournament so heavily dependent on another country's players? The Big Bash in Australia won't have a single Indian player but the organizers over there are in control of what they are doing and not dependent on the Indian market to succeed.
SachDan Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 OMG !!!!! The best tournament (according to Padosis) won't happen now !!!! This is a disaster. :hysterical: This tournament was supposed to be better than IPL since it involves "quality Pakistan players" :cantstop:
