India is no.1 but If India has to be compared with the likes of Australia pre-07 and old WI then they have to conquer all places but India does deserve to no.1 right now like it or not. :finger:

Australia ne toh India mein ek bhi series nahi jeeti thi us doran(1999-2004) Kahi Bangladesh toh nahi thi world conquerer us time pe.. Kyunki woh har desh mein achi tarah har desh mein us doran clean sweep kar chuki thi apne uppar?

Australia under Steve Waugh, did not win in SL and India. Australia under ponting did not win in England. Going by your logic they did not deserve number 1 as well. India is yet to lose a series either home and away for almost 3 years now. Which other team has similar record for past 3 years. India has Cups against England, Australia, SL, Windies, NZL, Pakistan. Only team they don't have cup against is SA. Alhiyabhai, tumne desh ka pura naam miti mein milai diya. Yanha 50 kaus dur jab bowler bowling karne ke liye daudta hai to maa keti hai, beta bowler mat baniyo warna Sehwag, SAchin, Gambhir, Laxman, Dravid itna doyenge, hamari saat pushte ganji peda hogi

Some minor logistical issues, as I see: Suppose to be #1, India has to beat all countries in their own backyard, other countries will also have to beat India in India to get a fair chance at #1. So, obviously that calls for a lot of test cricket which is not possible. What time frame are you looking at?
Kumar Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 WI: last two series away we won both Australia: We won last one home and lost last one (almost 4 years ago) England: Won both last home and away South Africa: Drew last one away ( could have one it) and home New Zealand: Won last one away and home ....... not bad if u ask me personally, taking into consideration non sub continent teams that we've played recently!
