Nah..but that all important decision happened to be the final nail in the coffin as far as our chances of making a comeback in the series was concerned. But the Ghajni in me feels we are winning this :two_thumbs_up:

Its just the trait of Indian fans...Lol...When everything is going good' date=' we are all bullies and when not so good we'll find a victim and blame him for everything that happens..Now it is Dhoni and Harby..[/quote'] seriously..soo annoyingg !!

Suck On That Most Of You.. It Was Not Dhoni's Decision, According To Dravid.. It Was Team's Decision After Dhoni Had Meeting With Seniors.. You Bunch Of Sons Of Guns..
Decisions like this has to be a team decision. You don't want a disgruntled Bhajji or UV after this decision, do you? There are many things to be Blamed on Dhoni, but not this one. He could've taken the decision on the field... But at that time he was desperate to get a wicket.. Later the team and management realised that they might be losing most of the matches in the series so there's not point losing them copping bad publicity. Already they've copped much on DRS and Player's fitness issues.. Just take a note of all this and better prepare for the next visit of England to India..Everything can be given back with interest on top of that..

as if we would have bowled them out after that. he did the right thing and i respect him for it. i am sure he wants this series more than any of us. fwiw, i would have done the same thing in his place and be proud of it

lol people saying Dhoni did the right thing in spirit of the game, where did this went wen he used 7-2 fields against Austraila in 2008.hes shown in the past that winning is the only thing that matters to him,so why change now. n England is better team than us?gimme a break.wen was the last time they won a series in subcontinent except BD let alone India?we just are missing our 3 key players n have a very poor captain n a tired spinner to play with. England, like they always do,prepared for this series since Ashes,we r happy to win WC.I just hope we draw this one.I'm still hopeful we can win in Edgbaston, since Zak n GG will be back

Bell added some 20 runs after he was let in. No one stopped us from preventing Bresnan-Prior from racking up a 100 run partnership. If its not Bell, Broad or Prior or Bresnan would have hurt us. They have so many good bats down the order, thats why they are winning this game. Its funny how some of the fans here are attributing all successes under Dhoni to a good team, while they are the very same fans who slate Dhoni for his poor captaincy when things go wrong. A bad session or two in a close game, could be attributed to leadership. When you get hopelessly outclassed like this, you just have to tip your hats off to your opponents. We are just not good enough without Sehwag & Zaheer.

Dhoni nowadays is more concerned about his own image than team results. Dhoni of the past is Gone....he knows very well after winning the WC....no sob can remove him from this captaincy....as Manny said....the way Dhoni openly reprimanded Sree in SA was deplorable...Sree was getting under their skin and Dhoni pulled him back once again to somehow build his own reputation

Just wait and see....Lord Dhoni will score a triple century and win the game for India. He will be ably supported by Baron Bhajji, who will score his 3rd test century :hysterical:

Technically it was out, Bell CAN NOT assume it was a 4 and walk off, it was his fault, but I don't see anything wrong with what India and Dhoni did.

Awful decision by Dhoni very cocky by Bell we should have taught them a lesson and brought up the collingwood incident in Nassar or anyone started to whine.

Duh, before the players and umpires walked off the field, Dhoni was asked point blank, "will you withdraw the appeal ?" and Dhoni responded with a categorical "No". Only then Bell was given out. So if it was just his own decision, Bell would have been out of course. Dhoni is a product of modern India - mean mofo, competitive and one who does not give an inch. Dhoni must have consulted Tendu, Dravid & Laxman & must have decided that its not a good idea to enforce the "out". Anyways, focussing on this incident when the English team has just run over us, is missing the point.
