Cricket_Guru Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 beauty of ramadhan is, it doesn't matter how much variety of food you have, you cant eat alot, at sehri because of the body not needing anything, but at iftaar surprisingly you cant eat alot too. but i still try to get alot in my small belly.

ganeshran Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 What is the difference between Sehri and Iftar?
EnterTheVoid Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I am holidaying in Singapore at the moment with a Muslim mate of mine currently based here. He was telling me about his fast from dawn till dusk over a period of one month when we met and grabbed a bite to eat. Fascinating stuff really.
Cricket_Guru Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 What is the difference between Sehri and Iftar? sehri is sunnat(following what Prophet Muhammad PBUH did) and a preferred way of starting a fast. Iftari- when you open the fast and it is obligatory to break your fast on time, and then your choice as to how much you eat.
