pinkfreud Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Bhajji should sit out for the remaining two tests whether he's injured or not If Zaheer returns, should India ditch Harbhajan fit or not and play four quicks? Dhoni suggested it was unlikely because “we’re struggling with the over-rate even with three fast bowlers (so) it’ll be hard to play four.†http://www.mumbaimirror.com/article/59/20110803201108030858205476e089b83/Time-up-for-Turbanator.html :banghead::banghead:
Chandan Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Harbhajan has got a 'grade - 1' muscle tear in stomach and Yuvraj out with injury. :whine: Bhajji has a tear, Yuvi is not in good shape True! I'll believe Telegraph over CI anyday. Bhajji has a tear, Yuvi is not in good shape LOKENDRA PRATAP SAHI Nottingham: India’s principal spinner Harbhajan Singh has suffered a “muscle tear†in the stomach. He’d injured himself in the second Test, at Trent Bridge, and underwent a scan on Tuesday morning. “The report is being assessed, but a tear is bad news,†a well-placed source told The Telegraph late in the day. Apparently, the news isn’t good on the Yuvraj Singh front either. Yuvraj, who was hit on the left hand by quick Tim Bresnan on Monday, had a scan that evening itself. “The forefinger is swollen and Yuvi can’t even lift it... It’s just not encouraging,†the well-placed source added. Zaheer Khan, in any case, is recovering from a right hamstring strain. The pleasing news is that Virender Sehwag lands in London on Wednesday morning and will straight head to Northampton for the two-day match there against Northants, beginning Friday. Test No.3, in Birmingham, starts on August 10. Footnote: “Stop the IPL... All the problems are because of that tournament... The priority has to be to perform for the country... It’s depressing,†remarked Jugal K. Vij, director of the upmarket restaurant, 4550 Miles From Delhi. Others, too, have been saying much the same thing. Note that many other people are fed up IPL.

The Realist Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Great news - at least one less passenger in the team :yay: How did he even get injured in the "stomach" in the first place? He wasn't exactly diving around, hardly bowled but somehow managed to throw the bat in the 2nd innings. Whole episode smells fishy and reflects the shambolic planning for this tour.

Texan Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 English batsmen must be praying he gets fit quickly.
Blue Panther Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 He won't play, india is planning to play 4 seamers and this is a good excuse. Its all a drama.
Yoda-esque Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I think it is safe to say that Bhajji has finally made it large.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 ^I think this joke is getting quite old now.
Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 ^I think this joke is getting quite old now. Joke is as predictable as his balls now. :cantstop:
darkknight Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I am a fan of Dhoni but if he plays bhajji in the next test match' date=' i am going to start rooting for England[/quote'] I have already, irrespective of who's playing. I have to show my loyalty to queen now.
