That is the problem' date=' he is simply not ready and will get pwned in England.[/quote'] Both OJHA and Kohli are very Talented GUYS...one is the best left arm spinner INDIA has..though murli kartik is equally good and second is Virat who is going to be the next SACHIN...I am delighted and would be happy if both are in the playing 11 along with ZAK and Virender sehwag. i would prefer a 4 man pace attack though..with zak ishant sreesanth and PK...as english pitcehs are pacy wickets and its logical to play medium pace swing bowlers here and with 4 pacers and raina,sehwag to Support..we will have a decent ATTACK... sehwag gambhir dravid sachin laxman virat dhoni 4 pacers will be a decent team to win us the match. if sehwag does not play than raina plays ahead of mukund.

Kohli is a bad choice. Its not going to help him being stuck in here right now with a technique that needs work. I'd rather they have gone for someone like Rahane or even Rohit Sharma

Rohit is still a better prospect for tests over Kohli. He has better technique, suits his style and has the shots needed. Kohli is good, he just needs to finetune it a bit more. I can see Rohit facing the english attack with the most ease over Raina, Kohli, Mukund etc..

Rohit Sharma should be promoted ahead of Kohli. He has better technique. Kohli will like the pace in English pitches, but I doubt that he can play swing as good as Sharma does. Though Kohli will have to bat in the middle order and he won't have to manage swing. Rather he will have to handle bounce more often. Ojha is a good choice. I would like to see him in the third test. his strike rate is 84.2 on home turfs. cant understand why everyone is getting excited about him. if he takes 2 wickets per innings then its a miracle.

^He won't get to play any game as far as I know. Viru and Gambhir will replace Mukund and Yuvraj. Only player who gets an eye in is most likely Ojha. Who might get to play in 4th test than 3rd. There is a chance Mishra would play over him since he's been part of the team for a while now. Though I am glad, Kohli is going. you never know he mgiht get a chance in 4th test replacing someone if the series is yet to be decided then.

Kohli over Rohit and anyone else any day! Good decision. While I feel that Rohit is more talented, Kohli has the attitude and is very ambitious to do well as a batsman - a definite good thing required for test cricket. He will really get gritty, take a few blows to the ribs etc, but he will place value to his wicket, something the rest of the team doesnt seem to be doing. I would take a leap of faith and put him ahead of Raina in the next test. And besides, Kohli is a fantastic fielder, and as a sub he can do a lot of damage. Imagine Kohli and Raina in our covers again,we can save plenty of runs. If Yuvraj's injury turns out to be not too serious, I would get him to field too, even if he isnt part of the playing XI. You save runs, you build pressure, and you get more loose shots, resulting in edges. We need that pressure definitely. Far too often have we been letting England batsmen get off the mark with a loose ball, dispatching it for four. Also. Kohli and Raina should both play vs Northampton, with Dravid sitting it out. The match would do little to add to Dravid's performance at the moment.
