Yeah, unless Dhondy youre suggesting that the huge influx has left Brits jobless and hence to the social deprivation that might have caused all this...

They have no respect for any authority figure, be it the police or teachers. There's a larger issue here, for a few years now we've had youths on the streets at night, just drinking away and being idiotic. Of course their unsocial behaviour will be questioned by the police. Now they feel they're being unjustly pulled up by police, I don't think that's true, you dress like a thug, hang around in large groups, are out when you shouldn't be. These people don't give a toss about anything and with the Mark Duggan thing they are blowing it up to justify their looting, none of them know what the cause is.

Our area (W London) has seen little happen bar the high street and my gym closing up despite rumours last night. Bad scenes in Croydon and Ealing though. Two yoofs and Kelvin rent-a-quote moron Mackenzie having a debate. It's funny how pre-conceived agendas are so far ingrained that everyone claims to 'know' exactly the political reasons sparking the riots. I can't recall too many predictions? From what I can see it is mostly yoofs seeing how one incident has created carnage so thinking they may as well use the force as well and nick some plasma screens. And Basmati rice. The parents of these mini thugs would have been used to sitting on their *sses and getting pay cheques from the government. They would have grown up in one of the many lawless estates the govenment had built to house them. Everything was pretty much handed to them on the plate, free school meals and travel for their kids, free pocket money for their offspring if they turn up to school, and good know whatever else. What the above has done is create a generation of scroungers who have no incentive in life to look for a job and earn a living, as if they did than they would be worser off. With parents like these what else can you hope from their kids!!

My colleague was teling me that if you are on alcohol related benefits, the govt actually pays you 50 pounds a month to buy alcohol :facepalm:

Why do you feel sympathy for the yardie with a gun and a notorious criminal that had been killed? Cos rember you were in favour of the riots in the cause of your hero
