BeautifulGame Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Nehra and Munaf are leagues ahead of Sreesanth in ODI cricket.
bajrang Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 In the 12 matches he played, excluding his last 2 in the wc,he took 7 wickets in the 2 matches he played before that and yet he was not played in any ODI game in SA...so yes Dhoni did handle him poorly and the 3 matches before that were all 300+ or nearly 300 scores were every one went for runs,so please look at the relevance of these stats before posting them. he went for 10 an over against Bangladesh when khan and munaf were giving only 4 runs per over. he went for more then 9 when youngster like mithun, tyagi were going 7 per over against south africa. so i looked, and he still bowls filth. :headshake:
Sachin=GOD Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 In the World Cup he had the fantastic figures of 13-0-105-0 :adore: :adore:
deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 In the World Cup he had the fantastic figures of 13-0-105-0 :adore: :adore: And he won it unlike players like Donald, Ambrose, Pollock, Walsh, Waqar, Akhtar. :proud:

f.b.m Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 After hyping up his wikat taking tailunt, his supporters are reduced to admire his philosophical outlook. Thats a big plunge..
ganeshran Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Sreesanth still has some supporters left
Trichromatic Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 Sreesanth still has some one supporters left  :hmmm:
maniac Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Sreesanth still has some supporters left  To Ganesh and Vibash...Why is Sreeshanth getting ridiculed so much? As I said,he has been mishandled by the team management partly and partly its his own doing. The guy picks up 7 wkts in his last 2 odi's and is the star bowler in the next immediate test series but he is then dumped out of the SA Odi serires and called in as the last minute replacement for the WC,Isn't that poor management of a player? He gets 2 WC games, the 1st and the last, not even tried against associate members, yes his overall analysis were poor but I still feel he did not bowl badly . Yeah fine since his stats are brought up ok he had 2 bad matches, then he is dropped in the 1st test in Eng and then comes back with an decent performance in the 2nd test, now after 2 tests where everyone failed,he is once again dumped. Isn't that poor management? where as someone like Raina,Bhajji or even Yuvraj keeps getting chances after chances despite consistent failures in test cricket just because they are friends with some important people in Indian cricket.
