I have not seen him, and I will only be convinced when I will see him, I am just giving reference of Maninder Singh who saw him at NCA and Mumbai Indians team last year when he was giving coaching there and Rahul Shukla is considered faster than Aaron in Jharkhand circles. I dont have visual evidence but I can only refer Maninder or the articles I have read who called him the fastest pacer in jharkhand. if we can refer ganguly and wasim for mohammad shami who too we havent seen yet then we can certainly take words of Maninder singh too who only took three bowlers' name capable of hitting 150K in India, aaron, yadav, and rahul shukla. but still we need to wait until we see him can he really bowl even 140+ let alone 150. How I overestimated Wagh, yes he is only around 135, but he is a left armer and swing the ball both ways which is an advantage even if you bowl 130-135 if you are a left arm pacer. Yes Shukla is quick,I don't know if he can clock 150 or not but I saw Shami in eden garden he really bowled quick in the nets,I guess around 140-145kph.Wagh is a good prospect too not as quick but swings the ball both ways plus he's a handy bat at the lower order.

Ishant is more like a 130+ bowler who hits 140+ occasionally and Sreesanth can bowl around 120-125 and notch it upto 130+ sometimes. Varun and Ishant are more hit the deck bowlers than swing bowlers and they will be more effective in conditions like West Indies and Australia rather than England. What we needed in England are bowlers like Broad who could bowl 130+ consistently and increase it to 140+ sometimes but could also swing the ball. In other words, a mix of both Sreesanth(swing the ball) and Ishant(generate pace). Expecting too much from this kid so soon in his career is asking a bit too much. He will be more effective in Australia than in England and with more experience under his belt. Both Sreesanth & Ishant is quicker than what u think.Sree is 130-135kph bowler & can touch 140-145kph when he's in rhythm.Ishant is 135-140kph bowler & bowls 145kph in his faster spells.In Aussie & this years IPL he bowled several deliveries over 150kph.

He's 78-82mph bowler,not capable of faster than that.plus he's already 27+,very unlikely to see him in the Indian team.

Ishant can bowl offcutter and incutter,he just needs to watch some footage of his spells in australia he used to give a real whip with the wrists kind of loose wrists currently he is gripping the ball too tightly so less inswing which really is his problem ,even in nz in odis he bowled some unplayable inswingers.

Dude, there arent many bowlers in the history of cricket who would bowl 2 -3 balls 150+ in the same over. So I think you are expecting too much . Lee and Shoaib were anomalies and theres every possibility that Shoaib was on steroids. If any bowler can bowl 1 delievery 150+ in an over ,and the rest at 140+, he is fit enough to be called genuine fast.

What I'm pointing out is there seem to be many people who are expecting too much from this guy already and saying he is India's next tear away bowler and what not. There would be people saying after his debut what's the hype all about, he is barely reaching 140 kmph etc. Even if you look at England bowlers, they only bowl occasionally at 140. So its important to bowl a good line and length and have the ability to seam and swing the ball and also know how to bowl to different batsmen more than just run up and try to reach 150 with every delivery.

Overall the body language was poor and the english media succeeded in putting pressure on Tendulkar regarding this 100th 100 which isn't that important. Grooming some new bowlers will be important. I think Ishant will be critical for the Aus tour with plenty of bounce on offer which he can exploit.

But i'm happy he has a feel of england now, they should play him in the ODI series and not in the T20.
