Asssam players do not get their dues that is why Assam secretary accused national selector of east zone Raja Venkat for bias and being a rubber stamp. Otherwise, Nechim was easily capable making one squad of Challenger trophy. Agree with u rkt. Selectors may also be prejudiced against Abu Nechim because he had once played in the ICL. Even Sachin is very impressed with him and he was considered definitely India material in his T20 days. Link to comment

Talking about performance, several players did not deserve to be in CT squads. he was encouraged by MI management and he showed his talent. selectors need to have eye for talent, dont base everything on stats always. Hugely impressed by this guy and he is young too.......1 to 2 years in intl circuit could make him very good bowler.......he has natural pace and can swing the bowl either ways....... Like any other youngster, he doesn't have control on this line and length but that could be worked out with time...... Link to comment

Old guy Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 im glad to see pathan performing well and some new bowlers making news nowp eople will bowl fast emergence and selection of fast bowlers showd every one if ur fast u will be picked in team just ive ur 100 percent i guess days of 120 bowlers are over i have nothing against medium pacers but when people who can bowl quick start bowing slowly u know something is wrong.. we do neeed skillful medium pacers like pk,zaheer but not like munaf! Also what guarantee these guys wont go the same route as Ishanth,Shreeshant or Irfan..... all showed high promise early in their career...we all know what happened after 2/3 years... true but these guys umesh in particular bowls quick effortlessly aaron already had 2 stress fractures (every pak great bowler had them in early days it actually reduces risk in future wasim akram said this) so he is willing to bowl fast even after injuries..both have commitment and about sreesanth itsn ot like he lost form cos of injury or naything he is still quick and still swings its more of temprerment thing he bowls 6 different deliveries in same over in a test match nehra , zaheer have always been injry prone itsn ot bcos of bowling quick and whenver zaheer came back he was better bowler god knows how he does that lmao ishant is big let down cant comment on pk yet how did he get that fracture? ishant lost his rythem, made many changes and was almost bolwing t same speed that of munaf then something changed in ipl and he started bowling quick again lets hope he keeps on improving now and gets some wickets for change Link to comment

Old guy Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 i think indian bowling is underrated south african attack is half the attack without dale steyn.. yes morkel and others are there but its steyn who leads the attack breaks big partnerships we are unlucky that zaheer is always injured and yes we need to make ig pool of fast bowlers considering how man of them are always injured itsn ot like we cant produce fast bowlers but people like sreesanth will never fullfill his great potential and others like ishant who does not use his brain at all these 2 should ve been our senior bowlers but.. lol Link to comment
