Sachinism Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Talking of IPL, does Mukund play for anyone? Has a fantastic List A record
Old guy Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 mukund really impressed me in england don know abt ipl but he should stay away form it soonero r later he will get into test team..2 double centuries this season!
saneindian Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Sudhindra again among the wickets, 4/11 so far, a total of 28 wickets@14.5 in the season for him best returns in the, had a 5-er in the t20 tournament as well and then bowled quite well in the Challenger Trophy. With Sanjay Jagdale from MP as the BCCI secretary and the convener of the national selection committee, a national spot could soon be coming his way.

Though I would say he is a good bowler, not pacy, but can move the ball both ways and gets extra bounce as well as he is fairly tall.

Can bowl in the early 130s when he puts in the extra effort.

He used to bowl Asifesque deliveries.
bulbul Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Kar 183/5 against 357 from Panjab :(( Our Opening Batsman plays like T20 ..Nxt 2/3 Batsmen plays like this is a 10 day match Most of the time it worked..but today everything went wrong... let usee how much Binny and Gautham make
zaqw222222 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Talking of IPL, does Mukund play for anyone? Has a fantastic List A record Mukund is with Chennai Super Kings
saneindian Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Sudhindra now has 7/48, perhaps the best bowling figures for this season
saneindian Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Another 100 for Manoj Tiwary, his 3rd 100 in an many Ranji matches. Including the ODI 100, sequence ofscores is 132, 267, 104*, 129* His first class average has shot upto 62 now!

bulbul Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 First time in league matches in last couple of seasons Karnataka Concede first innings lead :(( Add to that Binny,Arvind and Gowtham injured :(( :(( Utthappa opened bowling in place of Arvind and some time later replaced Gowtham as Keeper :two_thumbs_up:
Trundler27 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Looks like this season, the final will be played between Mumbai and Karnataka. However, the massive loss of mithoon and v ko-maar could derail their campaign after a solid start and TN would most likely replace them coz Bengal has been dissappointing under Gangu this season.

bulbul Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Top stuff' date=' at 26 he is at a good age for a batsman too.[/quote'] but where is the place in Test team?
Karan114 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 but where is the place in Test team? Not much he can do except pile on the runs in FC cricket and, when he gets the chance, in ODIs. If there are better players performing for India in Tests then that's a good thing for Indian cricket as it increases the depth.
Magneto Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Looks like this season' date=' the final will be played between Mumbai and Karnataka. However, the massive loss of mithoon and v ko-maar could derail their campaign after a solid start and TN would most likely replace them coz Bengal has been dissappointing under Gangu this season.[/quote'] 4 batsmen in the Bengal team can't bat and is nowhere near the Ranji level. If you look at their averages, you will be :hysterical: Bowling is decent, but one can't do much with such a team when you usually playing against far better teams. Bengal, I guess, would be relegated to Plate this year.
saneindian Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Manoj Tiwary's 187* helps Bengal take the first innings lead vs Delhi. 3 crucial points ensured for Bengal which could be huge and save them from relegation.
