The only hope is that the pitch is likely to crumble and this being a 5 day match, day 4 and 5 could be very tough for batting. tracks at MAC are new laid after WC and soil has not settled down yet and it was hard to make sporting a track in Chennai with so much heat. Instead match should have been held at Chinnaswami or some other neutral venue like Mohali. Poor planning should be blamed.

They have only Robin Bisht and Ashok Menaria as young batsmen. Bisht is the highest run getter this season in Ranji Trophy. Menaria did well before he got injured.
