Alchemist Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 The movie mad more money after the Award. It just didn't made big waves in early weeks. So didn't many blockbusters of that time. I think, during the late eigties and early ninties, there were very few opportunities or TV channels to show trailers on. The only way, I remember, to get the word out before the release was through posters and songs on vivd bharti. Hence, if the movie had catching songs, they would do good in earlier weeks and then fade away. Movies with good acting and good stories but less catchy songs took time to flourish. After watching this trailer, I have no intention on watching this movie. It will kill the image of original movie I have in my mind. The best movie ever.

Alchemist Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 The music in original was epic too. It had Jean Michael Jarre and Morry Kante peices. It fit perfectly with the script. As far as acting goes, no words, everyone put up a show, be it Kancha Cheena or Inspector Gaitonde.
