First name that comes into mind is Vinay Kumar.As I already mentioned before I understand most of you hate him for his lack of abilities but looking at the guy he does give his 100% .Another similar player is Jadeja,one of the better fielders in this Indian squad and looks like someone who tries. I have put together a list of players whom I feel sorry for.Please feel free to add to the list or question my choices

Murali VJ and Thilan Samaraweera.
But Samaraweera has done well for himself in tests ??? VJ understandable cause ruined his credibility to show his worth as a tontee-tontee player

Darren Sammy : has drive and work-ethics , but doesn't have talent. Misbah-ul-haq : genuine effort from him only brought abuses for him ,poor fellow. Punter: Hard to be part of a side which has gone so down(exclude current SL series ) after achieving a legendary high status. vinay Kumar : I feel sorry for myself for watching him play.

No huge worries there. He can still try for England in the years to come.

I feel sorry for myself because I had to watch this.

Dhoni was talking about our bowlers are not deceptively quicker. This is a new kind of a bowler now. What defines deceptively quick. Is a bowler who can bowl consistently over 140 is not a considered as deceptively quick or deceptively quick is something else. Though Dhoni does not have deceptively quick bowler, but he certainly has a deceptively slow bowler who when runs in his runup looks like to be delivering a thunderbolt but at the end his runup ends faster than what his deliveries reach to the batsmen and a batsman can easily have a nap in between before having pies served by him. He is so deceptively slow, so Dhoni's strategy is that batsman gets to sleep sometime while playing him and he gets through the defense of the batsman. But unfortunately for Dhoni, this bowler has not even been successful in doing this. He needs to up his pace a bit now because he is even too deceptively slow to reach the stumps. He actually deceives batsmen while making a batsman gets to sleep but because of the deceptive slowness of his delivery, it stops before hitting the stumps in between batsman's legs and the stumps.

west indies legends - windies were 1 of top sides upto around 1998, but have fallen apart in the last 10-15 years. hope that some players like darren bravo, adrian bharat, etc become future legends ten doeschate, kevin o brien, shakib al hasan - same reason as andy flower. great players, but in weak teams. all of them would make it into any international team ravindra jadeja - a bowler whos mis-understood to be a batsman due to some strange reason. he should work harder on his bowling & come into the team as a spinner. can be a useful limited-overs spinner bowling spells like 10-1-40-1 murali kartik - should have played much more. was unlucky that kumble & harbhajan were at their best during his time. and now when harbhajan is ****, the selectors dont even consider murali kartik vvs laxman(odis) - should have played in the 2003 & 2007 wcs. cant believe dinesh mongia was chosen ahead of him in 2003 and ganguly ahead of him in 2007 ben hollioake & manjural rana - players dying at age of around 22-23 in accidents :((
