really?like chosing RP n Vinay over Aaron?
and how you know aaron is going to be any better while sitting on your sofa 1000 miles away?? shouldnt we let MSD take that decisions.. if aaron gets picked and get smashed.. some other ICFers will come up and say he didnt pick RP.. the guy is freaking working his behind out while others bailed out at the key moments..

Aaron must get a game , He should've played today's game as well that's it. But just because Dhoni is not picking aaron doesn't imply that his captaincy was a fluke and all of a sudden he has become a bad captain etc etc.
Well who are we to pass comments on his captaincy.. But if you've seen the matches, his bowling strategy, fielding strategy, batting line up etc. you understand that there is some problem.. You are free to ignore that..

Did you asked the same question when VK etc. get smashed? Why is Dhoni or you so concerned about India losing when Aron gets smasehd but he's not worried about India losing when VK or RP gets smashed..

I dont know about Aaron ,but we can only know if he plays,no? n we certainly know RP n Vinay are crap.Vinay is mediocre n RP has lost his mojo,so its easy enough to deduce who should play,no?

I doubt his sofa is 1000 miles away. I think he stays in the UK. Unless ofcourse he keeps his sofa in India.
no,I stay in India

Its one just one tour. Lets see how he gets back from this disaster. That will be the true test of his character. Don't write him off yet. Thats all I ask.
so how did you rebound from MI losing miserably in all the IPL's? :giggle:

M$D himself has been at pains to give excuses like "we lack pace bowlers etc and hence not able to win matches.." during every post match interviews. Have you heard it or not? Is he waiting for a 100 MPH bowler to be available to him?

the current selection committee has been largely poor in dealing with young players and pacers. kohli was given chances but rohit, uthappa were taken off.there is little point trying raw talents like jadeja and tiwary when they never were going to be ready for the world cup. manoj tiwary and rayudu have not been given the required chances. next who mandeep? mayank? also parthiv and dhawan have made a business of playing supporting roles in many matches.they shud be playing a primary roles in winning matches frequently to be rewarded. hence they have been harsh to rayudu, manoj tiwary, uthappa all better match winners than parthiv or dhawan. if you are relying on garbage FC data, you can hand over the job to number obsessed statisticians like rajesh of cricinfo. why the hell are they there? they are suppsoed to determine who deserves exposure by analysis of the cricketing issues. giving chance to vinay is totally unacceptable. also the lack of pace has never been an issue with them. bringing poor fielders like nehra and munaf sends the wrong message as well. i don't think they are too keen on change the ways of indian cricket or increasing standards. the trundlers of the 80s and bad fielding does not seem to greatly bother them. that most likely means they think the way of the 80s are good enough. they are not adapting to the standards of this decade and the top tier status india attained after nearly 70 years.

Unnecessary bashing going on here' date=' really fickle fans. You same bunch will praise him when he wins again.[/quote'] exactly!!... dont know how they can expect to win when our top 7-8 are missing.. i would get mad if we would be fighting and bundling out in say 150 or something.. but MSD has been fighting the entire tour.. any other would have crumbled... anyways.. cant convince ppl who dont understand the cricket..

you guys wanted them to stop singles in power play? In the end they still need 11 off 7 with tailenders..I am sure we would win this game.
+1 people want trundlers to produce maiden overs in last power-play , when in India's inning genuine pacers with good skills were going for 14-15 runs per over.

LOL poor frustrated asterix needs someone to vent his anger on... Go get laid

No this tour was important.. He can go on and win on flat tracks and score 350 runs every match.. But that doesn't means we are trying to get better bowlers..
How about you blame the board for not giving the players proper preparation

^ I always criticise the BCCI goons.. They should schedule the tours properly. However BCCI goons do some bits right. Like asking M$D to take rest when he was adamant of having a Honeymoon holiday in Caribbean, like supporting M$D and other senior players on UDRS, selecting a timid coach on M$D & senior players request. This FTP was scheduled long back,. Can't be done much. But have seen how "seriously" M$D and his team take the tour matches (with him and Gambhir bowling and losing matches to lesser county teams), I feel the M$D & senior players themselves have forced BCCI to not have too many tour matches.. I mean they don't take their practice sessions and net practices seriously.. You want these feckers to lose 3-4 tour matches to domestic teams in abroad series?

UDRS is a piece of **** and BCCI were absolutely correct in rejecting it. We've seen on numerous occasions through out the series how pointless UDRS is and how ineffective technology is. Fletcher was a recommendation from Kirsten who had worked with him a lot in the past and felt he would fit in nicely. Don't blame the coach, I don't wanna bring in luck, but not much has gone right during this tour. What would winning a tour game have achieved? They're played for practice, not pride. I agree it was totally unnecessary for both of them (Dhoni and Gambhir) to get bowling practice, but that is FAR from being an issue/reason as to why we have failed on this tour.

Dhoni is unfairly criticized. People just criticize him for not being at his best as a Captain - they don't realize that he was concerned about more important upcoming series' like the IPL CL so he couldn't concentrate on this series :giggle:

I agree.. the tour has been tough..lot's injuries to key players and M$D has to play with depleting resources. I agree to all that. BUT, many cricket experts, commentators etc has been criticising M$D for many things on this tour.. Right from him coming down the batting order, field placings (take the case of his field placings for Swann. You can criticise the coach for this but onfield, he is the captain. He should've done his homework of each and every England players batting). Many experts have questioned his wisdome of persisting with VK on this tour. RP was completely out of shape (he still is). His WKeeping is also not upto the standards he himself has set. He's missed so many sharp chances.. I noticed that he is now keeping his legs apart and sharp turning balls goes between his legs.
