vishalvirsingh Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Finn is a terror....some of his bowlers reminded me of Brett Lee bouncers...Virtually unplayable...Rahane was Bold to fight and Lucky to survive. Parthiv was also shocked and finally he got out to the other bowler anderson... Anderson was looking a very Slow bowler along with Finn... For me he was the best english bowler and the best pacer today way ahead of anderson broad and bresnan. Even ahead of RP....

Can Steven Finn be considered an out and out fast bowler considering hes being bowling 94mph in the last couple of matches? The fact that hes even bowling 90mph is an amazing increase in pace from when he first played for England where he was bowling same pace as Munaf Patel.

MCcricket Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I always felt he was fast medium, comparatively Morkel is tall bowler who is geuine fast in my book, Finn He might have his days where he bowls fast then days he might not , his action is not too strong, maybe he made some changes have'nt seem the last game he played, definetly talented, probably more then Broad if you just look at bowling

MCcricket Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 NO DOUBT THE STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION OF ECB IS SUPERIOR AFTER A LONG TIME THEY HAVE CORRECTED THEMSELVES , well there might be some really good training going on there besides who knows some , makes my think of Bay area and Balco lol, their monitoring and preparing youngsters with potential talent players under contract and now selection is excellent, kudos to them , we need good advertisement for test , fast bowlers exciting batsmen , good fielders , England provides for two of those , hopfully other countries learn from it, especially India, our selection and grooming of our players is poor alot of talent has been wasted unfortunately.

achilles Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't think they should. These are 2 of our best batsmen up the order and can deal in sledges and sixes. Finn needs to understand that having the height of an Andrew Flintoff doesn't make him one.
