panther Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 he bowled a few 148 balls, got 1 wicket of Raina with a 148 ball. He was mostly around 135 in india. Its like a paki fool trying to debase " indian speed guns" pathetic attempt dude. accept it , pakis are trundlers Indians have multiple 145+ 150 + bowlers now.:two_thumbs_up: talking about test matches v west indies and in uae and sri lanka in odi he can still bowl his effort ball up to 90mph.

indiaregulator Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Steven Finn - Whats his potential? I'm not even overexaggerating here, he's been bowling like Glen McGrath with pace. Against Australia today he was simply unplayable. He got 4 wickets today and could have had so many more. What do you guys think of him?
Cricket Tragic Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 I rate the guy. The best part about him is the improvement he has shown over the past year or so. He has also been managed well by the ECB.

carnish Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 He was Piss Poor when England came to India last year in the ODIs .. Yet he turned out to be their best bowler on that tour. Havent seen English Cricket after that .. Really Boring to watch English team play So I kinda stay away unless they play India
Crookbond Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 ^ Piss poor - seriously? He was the best bowler in my books on that tour on both sides.
Vilander Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Ishant Sharma with control ( although Fin is slightly slower on average speed)
goggi Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 He was Piss Poor when England came to India last year in the ODIs .. Yet he turned out to be their best bowler on that tour. Finn was the best bowler by mile. Jeez talk about a load of bullsh!t.
BERGKAMP Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 and he can't even get into their test team. that's what you call strength in depth.
Karan114 Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 and he can't even get into their test team. that's what you call strength in depth. Indeed, whilst the likes of RP Singh, Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Vinay Kumar and other rubbish have managed to play Test cricket for India in the past year :((
Vilander Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Indeed' date=' whilst the likes of RP Singh, Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Vinay Kumar and other rubbish have managed to play Test cricket for India in the past year :(( 6'6" 150ks 24 years.
BERGKAMP Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 6'6" 150ks 24 years + cant bowl 2 balls in the same spot to save his life
daryl1985 Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 He was superb today on a helpful pitch. Looks a quality ODI bowler, hopefully he can make the step up to the test team. He has the potential to be one of England's all time great fast bowlers.
rkt.india Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 ^ Piss poor - seriously? He was the best bowler in my books on that tour on both sides. :agree: He can turn out out be one of the best fast bowler England have ever produced. He has every ingredient. He can still refine his bowling action a bit as he has a little bit of fall towards left. He jumps into the stumps and then fall away rather than jumping straight.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 and he can't even get into their test team. that's what you call strength in depth. yeah right. all that indicates to me is that ingerlund dont know exactly how good he is, or they are simply happy with their current combination and would rather have him playing the limited overs stuff. he is better than guys like tremlett and bresnan (yes, i know he has a good test record). i wouldnt be surprised to see him open the bowling with anderson when they tour india.
carnish Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 ^ Piss poor - seriously? He was the best bowler in my books on that tour on both sides. I wrote that he was their best bowler on that tour.. check it. Plus Indian bowling standards I dont need to comment upon. Ofcourse he was the best bowler on both sides in that tour. Doesnot make him any good. He was poor by all means and even with 8 Wickets in that series he failed to impress anyone. English Commies said he was well below his standards(I Dont know). Most Wickets he got when players tried to play rash strokes. Only in the Final game at Kolkata did he bowl a little better but we all know the Kolkata wicket was not the best to bat on on that day.
carnish Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 :hysterical: Did you even watch the series?? Finn was the best bowler by mile. Jeez talk about a load of bullsh!t. Yes, I Saw the series. I know he was their best bowler. I wrote it. But the standards of bowling were so poor that he was the automatic choice to be their best bowler. He just bowled accurately but had no pace or movement. If I remember(Please correct me If I'm Wrong) he bowled at about 130-135 and our VK was bowling at that speed. Plus he didnt get any movement that he gets in Ingerland and therefore in my view it was piss poor bowling from a guy rated that high when conditions were not in his favour.
maverick451 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 You must have been watching a different series to the rest of us He was bowling at over 90mph and looked a cut above the rest of the bowlers, the English comentators slated the team but heavily praised Finn.
