It is a really pity, people ask the Indian team to play more youngsters and at the same time, are not at all supportive of another young player. It is the way to go, and really it does not surprise me as many here always love hindsight and have terrible problem of short term memory. One game a player is great, next he should be gone. If people cannot appreciate Jadeja, then what is use of getting more players as we aren't going to support them either

I acatually think he is a must for odis as 5th bowler. Yes there maybe better options as actual 5th bowler but none of those options bat as good as him or field as good as him. He is best fielder in the team, he was dynamic today. Him and rahane in the field made so much difference. Bowled superbly today

How do we know until match starts? Jadeja is much better bowler the yuvi. Yuvi got exposed this series as 5th bowler and when he did we had no options. At least if 1 of 5 bowlers having of day then have yuvi option. Jadeja has to be in odi team. In tests he can F off, despite what ICF says about this and his triple tons:giggle:

UV has delivered with the ball for the past 2 years now, tbf. He got found out against Pakistan in just 1 match, but i'm sure he'd do decent against England and when he's back to full fitness. Jadeja needs to perform with bat too, to keep his place or get in as a bowler.

P Ojha can play ODI cricket too, he is a good ltd overs bowler not sure why he is ignored. So something like Irfan, Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar, Ishant, Ojha...

The next CT and WC are being played in England, Australia/New Zealand where Jadeja will be hammered like he was in the CB series. It's a waste of time investing in him with any major tournament in mind. Yeah, he can useful in securing some bilateral series wins in the subcontinent, but nothing more than that.

his bowling is ok in a restrictive manner when the pitch has something in it for spinners... but then so is uv. He has yet to show any potential being an international level all-rounder as his batting ability under pressure is absolutely crap tbh
