Trichromatic Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Hi Wooggy its still 5-0 to India in india :two_thumbs_up: India has failed to defeat England in last 6 ODIs. England is ranked higher in ODIs now. We have defeated only NZ by a margin 5-0 since 2009. We defeated England 5-0 in 2008, but England team has improved a lot since then. Except those two instances we never won any bilateral series 5-0. This bowling line-up would struggle even against Zimbabwe. We saw that when they couldn't defend good scores in Zimbabwe. We lost two ODIs with similar attack. They failed to defend 285. It would be very tough series for India. Team is at it's lowest point now. India would be lucky to win this series 3-2.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 In the run up to the summer I joined this board for some banter as the tests progressed. I was immediately told that England would get thrashed by the best team in the world. Well we all know how that went 4-0 to England. Then I was told, even though I have little interest in the one day game that England would get thrashed in the one day series. Well I have watched each of the highlights and it appears that we beat you 3-0 So now I expect all you Indian fans will now tell me that you will thrash us in India. To you I say the following: Having got it so badly wrong twice now, do you not think it might be a good idea to admit that england were the better side in both formats (Surprising in the one day) and accept that the games in India might be a whole lot closer than you would like to think?:winky: We're still World Champions and will beat you in India. kthnxbai
wobblydoggy Posted September 17, 2011 Author Posted September 17, 2011 Bring it on Wobbly... :ohyeah: we got beaten in the tests, ODIs and T20....But India will be a completely different ball game At what Net Ball

julianlev Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The India series will depend alot on the Indian players available. No Zaheer or Sehwag and England will like their chances

Kinwell Smart Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 It will be 50-50 in India .There won't be any rain during that season (except for due factor ).So ' date='we expect teams to play full quota of overs .[/quote'] So don't even expect India to get away with a no result this time around? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

I remember reading some absurd threads here bashing English before the series and namecalling for English players but I guess this series will make sure we guys would think twice before making fun of Broad or Bell... btw why is there so much abuse .. Wobblydoggy didnt use a single offensvie/abuse word in his post and mosts of posts replying to him are full of abuse.. serioulsy guys chill down and learn to accept defeat with grace...
