started wearing a wrist watch again since late 90s. Found it to be more convenient than opening the phone. It's pretty handy (pun!). Since I've started wearing a lot of people around are asking to know what's the time. I guess people are lazy to use the phone to know the time.

my biological clock is pretty accurate.. once I see the time, I can recall time within error of 5-10 minutes for at least 3-4 hours. But I still have habit of checking time on phone, every now and then. I have sort of disease of being punctual to the point, due to which I suffer more often than not in IST time zone.

there used to be custom made kitchen knives - iron blade with wooden handle - that needed to be sharpened periodically... and there used to be hawkers who would come and sharpen the knives/scissors etc. That hawking service thing is almost extinct.
