ipl has not really destroyed any bowler tbh :P
RP Swing, to an extent Ishant between 2009-10 etc, pacers have become complacent at times. Obviously a result of the players own work ethic more than anything else

Obviously a result of the players own work ethic more than anything else[/quote'] but money is good too he deserves it and he can bowl yorkers so maybe it wont be all bad rp singh is bad example as ipl did not destroy him he itself did ishant can be blamed on many other things and his biggest problems are technical TBH

like dhoni said he can swing it away too and that will make him even more dangerous on pitches wth bounce :winky: so this was intentional and i have seen him bowl only outswingers in duleep trophy match so good thing is he has brain!
He surely uses his brain while bowling. That is a very important quality to be a good strike bowler. Bowling outswingers on bouncy pitches is ok but he should stick to what e is doing on pattas.

ofc he knew this will work he is very experienced and has proved his worth in domestic cricket and picked wickets ishant was picked too young imo :P

Add Aaron too. He is another bowler who attacks the stumps at pace.
You guys have been adding Aaron for the last 2 years and all he has done is chilling out in the ICU. :giggle:

maybe in odis i do not rate him really high in tests :dontknow:
Whatever little he has played internationally, Aaron has attacked the stumps and has bowled good areas at pace. If he can stay fit, I feel he can be a good test bowler.

wow..!!..that's harsh. Its not like he is getting injured deliberately. Poor dude trying his best to come back after getting injured. Give him some credit for trying..

errr ... that's ICF parlance for someone who's been injured for a long, long time. No deliberate harshness there, not to be taken to heart.

shami was always impressive,be it domestically,in A tours especially that windies one, odis and now finally making his mark in the real format..he is a good new ball bowler, swings it both ways, bowls excellently with the old ball, has a sharp bouncer..he can easily be the captain`s go to bowler. now the only problem is his fitness, can he bowl with consistent good speeds for long spell? i doubt so..he is good for short bursts with maximum efforts,i think he needs to work on his fitness and stamina.. he has already improved his run up with quick starting strides.all in all,a good find

When did ICF first talk abt Shami Ahmed as a good potential? - 3 years ago? or before? For the very first time mentioned in ICF as a good potential? (not the first time the word appeared here, but the first time someone mentioned him as a potential in a thread )

I was very impressed with shukla taking 3 wickets in an over in IPL One or twowere bowled ............... He could do wonders in a Test
Picking some wickets in FC matches would be a nice start.
