Sooda Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Dew due eh? Hm. Is it harder for pacemen or spinners when dew is due What to do when dew is due
rkt.india Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Dew due eh? Hm. Is it harder for pacemen or spinners when dew is due What to do when dew is due harder for spinners, cannot grip, spin, and control the ball.
kabira Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 BUt' date=' IMO, 250 was par score even with due as much as wicket was keeping low. any one who bowled straight could have taken wickets.[/quote'] no no 250 was par score without dew. With Dew you needed 300. Dew would have quicken the pitch, ball skids on, easier to bat. Ball keeps low when it grips the surface or hits the cracks, with Dew all those things are out of window. It becomes batting beauty.
Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Love getting one over the English Congrats guys 2/5 of the way there but revenge is sweet and very well deserved, England played well in the summer but they showed know humility so proud that now we are winning and yet staying humble. On a side note, I live in England (was raised here) and used to play tennis to semi pro level I now play division 1 in the leagues. In training today and remember all the other guys are English the coach and guys were taunting me that we can only win at home bla bla! Anyway they made me captain against this other Pomm the players he chose for his team were man for man I felt stronger than my team! Anyway we had to choose singles or doubles as there were 6 v 6. Usually I would just relax and play doubles, but then I realised that I was a stronger singles player than any of their team but they were all good doubles players so I stepped up! won my singles 6-1 and 6-0, the other guys did their job and won their doubles and singles matches and we won over all! Coach had to admit that it was very brave and good captaincy I just laughed and said the English never learn :P and see you on thursday :-) Am very proud to be an Indian win lose or draw! :)
Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Sorry if that was a bit off topic but it made me happy :P
Sundar88 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Even if England whitewashes India in every series they play, India will remain the superior team. Why? Because unlike England we have 2 world cups, champions trophy and a world t20 compared to England who have just won a world t20. In fact I just realized few days ago that in terms of ICC trophy wins (the only trophies that matter in the bigger scheme of things), India is second only to Australia, closely followed by the West Indies. Teams like England and SA are only talk, they never perform when it matters. The fact that England invented Cricket and still have not won a world cup is laughable, England has also hosted more world cups than anyone else. We're way better than England at their own game.
Cricket Tragic Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 He is a Sri Lankan troll ' date=' he comes here for trolling. Bit upset these days as India are winning , ignore him.[/quote'] We should have a separate thread (sticky) with names of the Paki/SL trolls for new members.
Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Thanks for telling me guys I will ignore this twit from now on!

saneindian Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Back or not' date=' but one thing is certain, 275, 281 and now 304 in England without Sehwag, Gambhir and Yuvraj [b']shows the spanking England are going to get in India. They have been lucky that Swann hasn't got hit, will get thrashed in India. Pats himself on the back :--D
