Rajiv Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Had a buddy in the states who was kinda anti-bombay and always answered that he is from delhi ( with bg eyes and force which didn't really surprise anyone ). We happen to see his passport and the address was Agra ? so we were like when did u move- he was like "Oh actually I am from Agra but I have a flat in Delhi " :giggle:
NareshK Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Both Delhi and Mumbai are **** holes. Pretty much all Indian cities are not fit for decent living.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Both Delhi and Mumbai are **** holes. Pretty much all Indian cities are not fit for decent living. You are talking out of your ****. In EVERY Indian city, there are areas that are highly westernized. Go live there instead. Visited Mumbai earlier this year, loved it to bits.
Ram Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 That’s more than the population of Australia! :yikes:

JeffThommo_fan Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Whether its Delhi or Bombay, it doesn't matter coz they both are in India. And people outside India will always see them as Indians not bombayians or delhights. Bcoz at the end of the day, the international standard or reputation of a country matters. And New Delhi is obviously our country's capital, so we should have respect for that. As far as this discussion goes, whichever cities are the leading ones, whther its Delhi or Bombay, should aim to become of real international standard. India is world's leading power, so our top cities should match the standards of Shanghai, New York, Cape town, Sydney, Tokyo, London, Kuala lumpur, Dubai, Abudhabi and concentrate on removing slum areas, dirtiness on roads, improving literacy rate and lower crime rate. I always see both Delhi and Bombay fight each other on who's better whereas they both cannot doesn't match international standards of those cities which i have mentioned and weaknesses that i have mentioned. Its like 'andhon me kaana raja' kaun banega, iska competition hota hai
